Thanks for your presentation. You totally amaze with your knowledge of your animals. Lineage production and appearance. I thought I was good with my registered angus herd but I think you are starting to make me look like an amateur. Happy New Year
@@DeanHill-v3w my father in law is the real cow guy, he does know every animal and there whole pedigree, but I’m learning as I go!
great video, love that lambda gotta love the roxys, we have a red and white line from the roxys and they are fun to work with.
I doubt there is anything more therapeutic than watching milking videos , just love them even though I milk cows myself twice a day. Have a handful of Lambda yearlings myself look really nice and am excited about them.
I agree. When I was a kid I tried helping my grandpa but I wasn’t tall enough.
Awesome a Milking video I love it!!! The cows all knew you put a camera there loading into the parlor, something new LOL You guys breed with ABS bulls? Is that 120 cows an hour from lights on to light off?
@@Justangs we do use abs quite a bit. Started at 2:30 shut the lights off at 9 and milked 870 cows so I guess we were closer to 130 if my math is right
Nice video
Good to see a milking video, some nice udders , black cow at back reminded me when we sold heifers to China they would never take ones that had the number 7 as a marking on their face. Do you classify?
Cheers 🇦🇺
@@RichardNettleton we do classify once a year
Remember the first time Bob Miller told me about Roxy when he was taking pictures for us.
It's all about the Money Makers
Why do you losen the counter balance from your milking cups for washing? Its not necessary I think
Some cows I don’t, depends on the udder, some are higher in the fore udder so I loosen it bc if I leave it tight they squeak in the front
@@thefootlongfarmer you gotta make them a little bit longer with a piece of rvs chain (the counter balance) . That will solve the problem easily. We have it done in our parlor.(the same as yours).
Explain how that is cleaning you spray all that crap on the right into the milkers
@@richardpeter1935 we also spend a lot of time in the pit cleaning down there, trust me, everything gets fully cleaned before we’re done
No gloves, no face masks or no safety glasses for when ye spread lime .
Ye take health and safety to a new level.🙄🙄🙄🙄
