    SHARING OUR DREAM WITH YOU
This channel is all about the adventures, hard work, and farm lifestyle chosen by two city kids who wanted live the dream of modern farming, while preserving the quality of life found in traditional home cooking and living off the land.
Nestled in the fertile, mountain valleys of Utah, Ballerina Farm is named after Hannah, a former Miss New York City and graduate of the Juilliard School of Dance. Daniel is a history major and now holds his MBA to guide the ever-growing business. The children are wild, hardworking, and homeschooled by their mother as they learn to farm, rodeo, dance, and grow barefoot and free.

My Mom was raised on a big dairy farm in MN . 6 of her brothers took it over from my grandfathers generation ( their father came from Finland and homesteaded the home place) they turned it into a big operation with robot milkers and now some of their sons are running the farm. We lived in NH and every summer we got to go to the farm to visit and those are some my favorite memories in my life. Such a wholesome lifestyle and up bringing for children.

Congratulations BALLERINA FARM, from Australia (John). I used to be a dairy farmer in Victoria , Australia in the 1960's/70's. Daniel and Hannah you are to be congratulated on your achievements so far. Two things I see as necessary in dairy farming as mentioned in other posts, being cool, calm and collected helps you make the best/correct decisions & have your herd as calm as possible is only a good thing. The second thing is working closely with your Veterinarian. He/She is a godsend in making and keeping your cows/calves in tip top shape. Good luck guys and god bless...............

This is really smart to have a mixed milking herd. These cows are beautiful. I wish you the very best in your journey. I also showed Guernseys. In 1984 my Guernsey Cow was undefeated in North America. She was Supreme Champion at every show. Usually Holstein or Jersey are Supreme Champion. Guernseys are excellent milk cows. Wow, how very uplifting this is. So many stories of family dairies closing, i have one of my own from years ago. This is so good to see. I retired three years ago, sold the last of my cows (beef) five years ago (I miss them terribly). It's heartwarming to see you starting off on this adventure. I wish all the blessings and will pray for you. From someone who grew up dairying, you will love those girls, they will become a part of you. And to be honest, I cried a bit too.
    Best regards from Indiana.

@conniepitts8392 I dont want a farm or a lot of children. I dont want to be a beauty queen or a Mormon. I dont care an iota about ballet. I like to cook healthy meals and live simply. So where might I be jealous of a woman making $7 million a year on social media showing a highly edited version of her life? Yet so many women fall for the fantasy. The farm is actually a huge money loser subsidized by social media money.
