This video hints at what flitetest used to be. Reminds me of why I fell in love with flite test and flying. But also reminds me of a broken promise and why I've since lost most interest in flite test. Long in video ads, no instruction on building, no comments on how it flies, how to fly this model best, no plans available(as promised years ago). This is still just a marketing video for a product, and no longer taking your audience into the realm of enjoying and building and learning the flight of a new model.
I really miss free plans, but it’s probably not feasible to keep the freebies and support their business. But I still miss the free plans. FT got me back into RC after a nearly 30 year hiatus and the free plans were a big part of it.

Great video. It doesnt help those who have never built because i have all the supplies, but without dimensions on part sizes, how do i know what size to make everything?
Would this be a good choice to do with a group of middle school students? Or is there a better (even easier;) one? And which transmitter if I think I might use it for other models?

It’s fantastic. Easy to build and fly. It’s also incredibly durable. Love that you’re making memories with your kids. Also, check out our EZ designs. They are great entry to the Hobby and you can build them with your kids and his little as 15 minutes. They are also perfect entry into the hobby and less than $60. For everything including electronics.
Just bought this kit its my first one i finally bit the bullet on a kit 😂 shipping to Australia is what puts me off but this is perfect and exactly what im after... my umx timber literally just took off into the sky the other day so this will be its much cheaper replacement.... do you think ailerons will be a future upgrade for this

Can you do a POV airplane with the camera on a 3D gimbal with head tracking on the headset (so when you look around the camera looks around)? Show how it is built and a parts list. Think of the emersion flying that. Maybe break out your flight chair from a few years ago. This system would be great on RC cars and quads too. Also can you do something covering the ranges of controls and POV equipment and what you can do to improve the ranges. You have not review goggles and such for years. Cover new goggles, new camera, new controllers... It is hard to know what you need to buy. Maybe you can show of kits you have on your site to go along with this.

I would love to get an answer to this as well. The Fogey Mini is not as easy as I had hoped and inexperienced students will struggle.
