Curriculum Review: Mr. D Math: Algebra & Geometry (2024)

📚 Curriculum Review of Mr. D Math:
This past 2023-2024 school year, my 8th grader finished Mr. D Math's Algebra Course and the 1st semester of the Geometry Course. I wanted to share with you what we thought about the curriculum in case it might help you in deciding whether or not this would be a good curriculum for your own student.
***One thing I forgot to mention in the video: When I went to purchase the Geometry course, I saw that if you contact them, they will give you $100 off your next course (which was almost a 50% discount for the self-paced course!). I'm not sure if there is a limit on using the code they email you, but it did work for me when purchasing the next course.

This was extremely helpful! I've been looking for a video that explains/shows how the worksheets are printed. Are they aware that the worksheet link doesn't contain the updates? I wonder if they are going to update that?
We have used BJU Press for math so we are use to a different format as well.
This video has me rethinking taking a year long course vs a semester course. I didn't know there were only 2-3 lessons per week. I can see how it would drag on. I signed my son up for the live, Pre-Algebra course. I need to reassess.
