    Do your children do the live classes or the self paced. And what do you like the most?

      Hi Felicia, right now I have one child in each. I have another blog post coming out on Wednesday of this week comparing the two options. Both are great and the decision really depends on the needs of your child. In my new post, I walk you through the questions you should ask to determine which is a better fit for you. Subscribe to my mailing list at www.mycuprunsover.ca to get an instant notification when it comes out. (I will also try to remember to come and paste the link here for you.)

      Hi Felicia, here is my review of the live online math classes: mycuprunsover.ca/live-online-math-classes/

    Do parents grade the weekly assignments and do parents have access to the answers for grading? I'm super happy they let the students redo quizzes/tests to mastery!

      Nope! Everything is graded automatically! You really don't have to do anything!

    Thank you! How many students are in a live class?🌸

    So each day they complete and grade the worksheets you printed out themselves, submit their grade, and then they take a quiz that is graded by the online software?

      Yes. The prescribed schedule is three lessons per week. Each lesson has its on quiz and the. There are spiral reviews every few lessons and a test every chapter. We are still loving this curriculum after many years. My eldest finished her high school math requirements in grade 9 with Mr. D.

    Can you tell me how many lessons per week and how long per lesson for pre Algebra?

    • @mycuprunsoverblog
      @mycuprunsoverblog  Год назад

      The pacing guide recommends 3 lessons per week. How long it takes really depends on the student-how well do they grasp math topics, how focused are they, and how quickly they work. I'd say it's probably about an hour, but could be done faster with an eager student.

    How long do you have access to the pre recorded classes?

    I know it will differ with each class and each year, but in your experience, what time of day were the live help sessions offered and how many per week?

    • @mycuprunsoverblog
      @mycuprunsoverblog  2 года назад

      Hi Julina,
      It depends on whether you take a full-year class or a half-year class. Full-year classes meet once a week while half-year classes meet twice a week. You can find the full schedule of live classes for next year here: bit.ly/3LZedIt

      @@mycuprunsoverblog I see what time the live classes are, but I was wondering about the live help sessions.

      @@Julina367 Oh I see. I don't think there are separate help 'sessions' aside from what the live teachers offer. When doing the live classes, students still follow along with all of Mr. D's own videos. The classes themselves are the help sessions. However, real-time help is always available to students. They can send a message to their teacher asking for help at any time and receive a response very quickly, often right away. Hopefully, that clears things up.
