      @@FrankiesWorld Nice work... Are the motors run separately or combined? It is the hooking up a 2nd motor for front on an already ebike rear motor. If I hook up front hub what will be the connection diagram. I was imagining an extension arm bar for handles and hook up the brake , throttle ect on the long arm bar rest( the one you lean on and arms in front) . @@user619tlsdca5 the motors are separate. Nothing changed on the stock motor, the front has its own controller and battery. However I don’t have the PAS connected to the front motor so it works with throttle. The cables from the battery and controller are on the back rack and connect to the front motor and throttle. I have two throttles, one for the front motor and the other for the rear.

      @@FrankiesWorld Yeah, until their is a smart controller for dual motor, looks like I be right behind ya. That was a cool set up on the lec. Im going to have 2 handle bars with my 2nd motor lines feeding into the extended arm rest bar for straight away top speed. Have 350watt 48v and bought a 1500 watt front hub. Great build but I'm not sure i see the advantage of hydraulic brakes that still use a cable. Still have cable stretch. I have seen complete full hydraulic kits for 80 bucks online, no cables. I have a mid drive XPremium, What do you think about adding a front wheel motor setup to a mid drive?

    I bought a 350 watt GEAR motor factory build and upgraded the bike with a 2nd 2000watt gearless motor as a TURBO BOOSTER when on top speed off cruise control at 20mph of the 350watt GEAR ⚙️ which boost mph to 38 to 40mph as it gets me to go long distance faster. Using two gearless motors I wouldn't be able to go miles on without motors cutting off to cool down. Believe using a Gear motor with a gearless to use as turbo booster is the best method of AWDs and factories should make these as the standard.

    • @FrankiesWorld
      @FrankiesWorld  Год назад +1

      Yep, that’s basically what I do with my front motor. It’s there mainly as a turbo booster to use when it’s needed.

      @@FrankiesWorld Set up is extremely practical as I use my 350 gear ⚙️ to ride within housing streets as I use e bike to make deliveries, when on open roads , blvds, hills I use 350gear on cruise control and turn on the 2000 watt gearless of using 36 to 40 mph of long distance like my 10 mile ride to warehouse at 36 to 40 mph. With just using the Gearless I can only ride 3 Miles of top speed before the motor cuts off to cool down. With just the 350 gear ⚙️ I can ride continuous but only at 18 to 20 mph.

    Did I miss something? Why do you use two throttles? Not needing a three position switch, for front only, back only, and both. I would think about a inline detent switch on the throttle as a lock out for the front motor throttle signal and have just rear power only, switchable to both from the same throttle signal.

    • @FrankiesWorld

      I know the Ariel rider dual motor bikes have a 3 way switch for that reason. In my setup I have two throttles because the right one controls the front motor and the left one controls the rear motor. Or I can use both at the same time if needed.

    i would suggest adding a layer of electrical tape to the front throttle because they are sharp and uncomfortable. And maybe adding a thumb drive throttle on the left side for the rear motor as it takes up much less real estate, you won't have to turn UPWARDS with the stock throttle and a full size grip can be used over the cheap grips that come with the kit.

    • @FrankiesWorld

      These are 160mm, however I just ordered 180mm. The 160 are fine for normal use.

    What is your maximum distance with two motors and two batteries?

      There are a lot of variations in this. Hills, rider weight and speed. I’m around 190lbs and do some hill climbing. With that being said if I use PAS 2 and both throttles when needed I can ride 24 miles and have around 35% battery left. On flats you’ll get more. Also, if you use just one motor and switch to the 2nd motor when the first is almost dead you can almost double your range.
