My all time favorite PG! I saw Rod at Jersey Live watching the top HS players ball this summer. He was dolo, jumped out of a Uber and was just chilling watching the games. Super cool dude.

It sounds easy but it isn’t. Rod perfected the skill of keeping himself between his defender and the ball like no other PG I have ever seen.
The only PG’s that were as fast and maybe one or two faster moving full speed ahead dribbling and change directions on a dime, Earl The Pearl, Tiny Archibald, Magic, Zeek & J Kidd.
Rod and J Kidd are my two favorite PG’s all time!!!!!

Should have won a National Champ at Depaul along with Aguirre and Cummings which, oh, by the way, those two were #1 picks but Strick had a nasty quick dribble and could get to rim anytime he wanted (he was a shorter A.I.) and, yeah, kept his body between you and the ball. I lived in Chi for a while off 75th and Cottage back in the day. Definitely under-rated when PG's were pure.
