(Col. 1:20) While some Christians have great faith for big cars, homes and health, they berate those who believe in great scriptural promises like: "This is a faithful saying and worthy of ALL acceptance. For to this end, we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of ALL men, especially those who believe. These things command and teach." (1 Tim. 4:9-11) That, in a nutshell, is Carlton Pearson's "Doctrine of Inclusion," that Christ is in deed and in fact, the Savior of both the whole world AND the "especially" ones, that is, the church. A friend who i had witnessed to was intrested in his "new way" to God he spoke about. Praying right now for him to repent and place his life in Jesus Christ alone today before it's too late. Wrong. You’re referring to Isaiah 5:14 where it says “hell” hath enlarged itself. The translators put in the Anglo word hell but the original was a word for grave. So basically the grave hath enlarged itself. Do some research and you’ll be amazed

@austinyoung3839 I just took Hebrew and Greek. The sheol means Hades which, at the time, had two sides. There was the place of torment where those who did not believe and trust in God went. And there was Abraham's bosom or paradise, where those whose "faith was credited to them as righteousness" went. Obviously everyone's body goes to the grave or underworld when they die. Sheol means that as well, but in the context of Isaiah 5:14, it is talking about the destination of the soul. Read Luke 16:19-31, which talks about the rich man and Lazarus, for a better understanding of Hades. After Jesus died on the cross, He proclaimed the victory to the evil spirits. He did this from the paradise side of Hades. When He was resurrected scripture says that people saw the spirits of Old Testament saints who had died just walking around Jerusalem. When Jesus ascended, He took captivity (those saints who were waiting for Jesus to die for their sins) captive, and took them to to the third heaven (Eph 4:7-8). After this, hell or Hades expanded. Isaiah is being prophetic.

Jesus spoke in parables. A parable is a fictitious story (meaning it isn’t true and never actually happened) told to convey a moral or spiritual truth. Jesus spoke in parables. So does the Bible. Also, throughout the Bible fire is always used as a metaphor for purifying, not destruction. At the end of the day, what Pearson believed and taught goes contrary to the word of God. Part of his belief is that no matter your religion or actions, you can still go to heaven. Wrong. You’re referring to Isaiah 5:14 where it says “hell” hath enlarged itself. The translators put in the Anglo word hell but the original was a word for grave. So basically the grave hath enlarged itself. Do some research and you’ll be amazed

@austinyoung3839 I just took Hebrew and Greek. The sheol means Hades which, at the time, had two sides. There was the place of torment where those who did not believe and trust in God went. And there was Abraham's bosom or paradise, where those whose "faith was credited to them as righteousness" went. Obviously everyone's body goes to the grave or underworld when they die. Sheol means that as well, but in the context of Isaiah 5:14, it is talking about the destination of the soul.
Read Luke 16:19-31, which talks about the rich man and Lazarus, for a better understanding of Hades.
After Jesus died on the cross, He proclaimed the victory to the evil spirits. He did this from the paradise side of Hades. When He was resurrected scripture says that people saw the spirits of Old Testament saints who had died just walking around Jerusalem. When Jesus ascended, He took captivity (those saints who were waiting for Jesus to die for their sins) captive, and took them to to the third heaven (Eph 4:7-8). After this, hell or Hades expanded. Isaiah is being prophetic.

Also, throughout the Bible fire is always used as a metaphor for purifying, not destruction. Such as when Job said, “When He has tested me (through the fire), I shall come forth as pure gold.” Or when Peter says, “That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:” (I Peter 1:7).

Love Carlton. Lots of respect for him. In spite of losing his church, and his job, and being ostracized, he continued to teach what he believed was true (and IMO MUCH closer to truth if there is a God). Most ministers are not honest. I beleive there is a hell. I dont beleive that its a everlasting place of torment. i feel that a parent who discipline there child does it out of love. In hopes to teach that child of choices and consequences of their actions. Using physical punishment for correction of The child ways.
