I grew up watching Arthur my whole childhood and reading the books too. I am now a kindergarten teacher and I almost always have at least one Arthur book on my classroom shelf. I read these books to my students and have show them the TV show too, they love it. Always find it amazing how I was in kindergarten the year Arthur came out and the year it ended I was actually teaching kindergarten myself. It’s just like that phrase “and the life cycle continues.” 🥰

I feel very privileged to say I know Marc Brown. He’s a new regular at the restaurant I maitre’d at and is honestly the sweetest, most genuine guy I’ve ever met. The second time he came in, he gave me his Believe In Yourself book and signed it. He’s literally the human version of Arthur.
Arthur is the real deal. Although imo only the first 3 or 4 seasons are good, with the original voice actors. Once they started changing the voices and the kids starting growing up and didn't sound similar, the show suffered from that.
