  • Mount Rainier (14,411 ft.), Washington's highest peak. We backpacked from Paradise to Camp Muir, and started hiking at 2:10am the second day, summited at 7:30am. Mt. Rainier is the most heavily glaciated peak in the lower 48 states, with lots crevasse. Good weather and snow condition are the reasons for successful summit. We came back to Paradise on the same day, descended almost 10,000 ft.
