Yeah it makes a rebuild that much harder when the internals are in such a bad state. I've spent hours trying to clean the parts up. Trying now to figure out what I need to get it repaired. Thanks for watching & leaving a comment.
I have a '68 KO CT-90, sticky shifting. Probably needs shift drum stopper replacement. These Honda engine/clutch/transmissions are all very similar. Ingenious, complicated and quirky requiring some JIS tools, reference documentation, and experience and luck sourcing parts.
Definately Gary, they are ingenious little engines & made a fortune for Honda. Considering they've made millions of them I'm struggling to find parts. Thanks for watching & commenting.
