Vipers even nowhere near this crazy power are still a handful. Even for professional drivers it's a challenge watching them try and drift them. It's already easy to loose the rear end with lots less power on these. Something like this has to be respected when driving. Sounds like a top fuel dragster when iddling. Seen Tim drive many mad crazy expensive powerful cars but this car is in that 1 percent group that induce a level of fear and intimidation. Says a lot as Tim is good driver on and off the track. The grunt of an 8.4L V10 has few if any rivals.
The burble is sublime and the familiar V10 tone is there, but with the bass turned up to 11 because of how big the engine is.

I don’t think Tim realized he probably wasn’t even feeling the full power of that viper. They have boost by gear and don’t even hit full boost till 4th or 5th gear depending on the map. Additionally they have a sophisticated traction control system that is Almost always active in the lower gears but goes undetected during pulls because it’s super smooth.

Many people don't know that Viper is one of few supercars to be in both the Ferrari and Lamborghini families over it's life. Both "consulted" on the V-10 but did not want their name associated with it by any means. Lambo, once owned by Chrysler, provided the technology in 1991 to cast aluminum for 10 cylinders but the rest is subject to debate. Tom Gale designed both the 1992 Viper and the Diablo so they have that in common too. Sergio Marchione, boss of Fiat-Chrysler praised his own SRT Viper with this quote:
Marchionne told US radio station WJR-AM Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo was full of praise for the reborn American muscle car after seeing it in the flesh for the first time last week.
“The car is a superb machine," Marchionne said in the interview. "I had the chairman of Ferrari down here for the board meeting last week and he had a chance to look at the car, and he was speechless."

Let’s hope Schmee never gets a ride in Kratos or Juggernaut. I don’t think he will ever come back to the states after that lol. I’ve never seen someone so genuinely afraid of a car like that before. Well done Viper and NTH. Vipers are epic rides even stock, much less with 2500hp, and Schmee didn’t even feel full power haha.
Thanks for sharing your experiences Schmee. Never thought I’d see you in a Viper. 👍

I would love to see a JDM car in your collection.
I am not a big Viper fan, but it was fun to see your reaction driving it.

I know you found a nice and quiet dark place. Poured yourself a cup of Earl Grey, and took a nap. I've been watching for years and I've NEVER seen you so flustered. 🤣🥰

That Viper is a car built for a astronaut who went to space once and is craving that adrenaline rush they got during rocket launch.

Congratulations Tim for joining the 2K HP drivers club, i have never seen you in such impressions which this car has put on your face. I can imagine how brutal that could be if it is putting a fear on your face. Thank you for great content its always an amazing trip to US but I am not sure if you will be joining the Gumbal this time around
