Nobody can ever say that dodge didn’t bring it in the engine department stock and modified. The viper is a gem. I like the fact that the best thing about it is still the motor not just some big ass turbos slapped on as the big trick.
Between you, Mike, and Stang Mode, I don't think I've ever seen a car go that fast at this event

Calvo had a fully built, 1800 hp example for sale at the TX2k23 for 295. That was with 2 sets of wheels, and a lot of extras to go with it. You could drive it home after blowing doors off at the track all day.

Gasoline cars are not going anywhere, not for a while, and since we’ve “tuning” cars since 1885 it’s pretty safe to say we have reached the peaked of the internal combustion engine, E-Vehicles don’t have billions of dollars and 139 years of research, Direct Drive E-Motors will only get smaller, lighter and more efficient, batteries will only get lighter, cheaper and more powerful (+ah), assuming that there is no “room for improvement “ on e-vehicles it’s a mistake, we are at the very early stages of the technology, and we already have plenty of companies tuning E-Motorcycles, trying to go faster and faster it’s not the byproduct of gasoline, it’s the byproduct of being human, it’s the byproduct of needing to push our limits, that’s not going away

It's ashame Dodge Chrysler couldn't build better automobiles in general after building muscle cars.
I hate to burst their bubble.. they are no longer the fastest quarter mile viper chassis.. they hold the fastest viper with a viper motor. But that blue viper with the steve Morris engine beat the juggernaut time.. juggernaut ran a 6.89 and that blue viper ran a 6.40. By Ned dunphy
