For tech, the simple the better. I’ve seen much better traffic when I use simple thumbnail than when text is added. Directly to the point ✌🏻

I've noticed something recently.
My views over the last few weeks have been lower than normal (have over 500k subs and get around 15-20k views within 24 hours on a new video)
I think some major changes to the algorithms have been made, because the thing is that my CTR on the new videos is above normal, or around 'normal' if they are not above (green up icon) and yet my views on those uploads are lower than say 1, 2, 3 months ago. This tells me that YT isn't showing as many people my videos as my CTR is up but views are down.. for whatever reason. Thoughts?

Why is RUclips analytics stagnating my watch hours and subscriber count? I have 154 subscribers for example, but analytics keeps updating +134 then back to +129,any explanation?

Sure do. I tried following all the recommendations for thumbnails and I looked at it and thought...this is someone else’s video now! I’m gonna push with a balance of what I should do and what I enjoy...otherwise what’s the point right?

Don’t spend a lot of time in thumbnails. Look at Mr. Beast, his are plain but catchy phrases. Use a known face or celebrity as a hook & tie them into the video

Great video! It’s such a fine line ticking all the thumbnail boxes of what you should do and making sure it still has your brand and identity on it. Showing value and what sets you apart. I don’t have it down yet but enjoying crafting them :)
