    I haven't been doing RUclips long but switching to bullet points helped me SO much! Trying to remember stuff just killed my flow.

    It is funny how we are so focused on the "Script" or "what people think" at the start of our ventures, but so agree that you just have to do you! 100%! Does take time until you get more comfortable but when you release your own self, things happen.... On and off the camera. Great Tip.

    Always be yourself... We have only scripted when both of us were on screen at the same time, but found always better when we go of 'bullet points' They always work out better. Yes there are 'scripted' sections for promotions and end screen but it is still off bullet points.

    I'm not sure why, but I get eh feeling that the "no need for makeup, and it's ok not to cover a blemish" is great advice for... men.
    Something tells me that a woman would get a lot of judgement (not necessarily in comments, but even unspoken) if she decided to appear with a huge uncovered zit on her face and do content similar to yours. If she was addressing acne/skin problems it might be ok, but technical or business-related content? I can't see her being taken seriously...
    I hope I' wrong, but from what I've seen in some people's comment sections, people can be really mean to women who aren't always "put together".

    • @NoQualmsTheArtist
      @NoQualmsTheArtist 3 года назад

      I'm pretty sure you are not wrong. Men and women are judged differently it's just the way it is unfortunately.

  • @ShuriBear

    Switching to bullet points is one of the best things I've ever done as well!
    If I make full made scripts I overthink literally everything. But with bullet points I allow to be myself and allow to be a bit awkward at times.
    It's all good you can always retake it anyway. But that way I noticed I was much more comfortable making videos and that shows in the final result as well.
