Come for a hike with me and Laura for a thru-hike on a beautiful Australian beach. We visit beaches and rocky headlands and the rains come and go. We find a beautiful stop to set up camp and watch the sunrise, before continuing our journey south under the towering sea cliffs, walking on the rock shelf at low tide.
Yuin Country is simply magnificent, I love the Australian NSW South coast.
This was one of my favourite sections of the Great South Coast Hike - when I hiked 700km from Sydney, along the NSW coast to Mallacoota in Victoria.

@@KateGrarock Thank you! Joined a few fb hiking groups and hoping to do lots of little day day walks/hikes around my area to get my navigation and fitness up a little and start collecting some gear. Hopefully when spring gets closer I can take myself to explore Bunyip state park and Wilsons Prom and do a few overnights.
And if that goes well spring 2023 really want to take some time and go visit Tasmania and knock out the Overland track! I've been up to Cradle mountain but would love to have the full experience.
As for questions, are there any overnight hikes in Victoria that you'd recommend for a newbie like myself?

@@Gpots hello Yvonne! I couldn’t help noticing your comments and how similar they are to my own experience. I discovered hiking a few years ago and LOVE it, I thought I would suggest as a wonderful overnight hike in VIC is Mount Feathertop, you can hike it from Diamantina hut across the Razorback to Federation Hut, camp overnight and then make the summit up to Feathertop, it was one of my first hikes and was just the best experience. Good luck and best wishes 👏🏻

Your vids are getting better and better Kate, this one is a real corker, right into the core of South coast NSW. Watching those waves break over the rocks I could smell that strong salty fresh air - beautiful, brought back so many of the thoughts from my early life in Oz. Nice to see Laura take a very active role in this vid as well Kate, reinforces what its like a have a good mate with the same attitude on life. Mate spray all your gear with Pyrethrum including daks, socks, pack and tent and forget about leeches, mossies and other crawlies. I dunno about Oz spiders but it deters the spiders here in the Cambodian bush.

I have watched a lot of videos, as myself and 3 woman fly out to New Zealand in 4 months to walk the 65 days 1600klms of the North Island TA hence the desire to learn, a lot. I have found your videos to be fantastic with great knowledgeable content, great camera work and background, looking forward to trying the Radix meals.
