Him being able to let tears flow in the moment is what separates him from not only other rappers, but just a lot of people in general who can't acknowledge and release genuine spontaneous emotion when nobody is around, let alone in front of a huge crowd. He has a brilliant creative mind and capacity to rap out of this world, but dude's letting his soul hang out in these albums for anyone who cares to listen. History is going to be very kind to Kendrick-- one of the best of all time.

Jay vs State property/ Dame Dash. There is alot more east vs east beef than west coast on west coast beef.

And gotta say even though I'm an Eastcoast girl, Westcoast rappers have more togetherness and love for one another I feel. Eastcoast rappers always trynna compete, I guess it has to do with the mentality, and climate the East is more hustle and bustle.....Cali is more laidback and chill. IMO.

I first started listening the kendrick lamar 2 years ago and first i just liked him cause he was new and hot but i continued listening to him to point where i start rewind his tracks and studying his lyrics thats i regconized that kendrick was different from the other rap artists in the game. His superb story telling and his snappiness starstruck me and eventrully he was literally the only rapper i listen for 2 years. Such an inspiring man indeed songs like "sing about me" pushed me in life in school, in my home ,in basketball and most of all being a man. Im a believer in GOD and l know that he will also be my idol but i think that the man upstairs sends people that we can look up to and Mr.Lamar is that person for me, he desevres EVERTHING award that is achieveble and to see this side of him shows how much he loves the (suppose to be) poetic artform thing is hip hop,and the scary thing is that he has not even tapped the peak of his potential. A walking legend his guy is.

Agreed, i always liked him & thought he was great because I could relate to parts of his story (not smoking/drinking much, doing crazy shit with family members/family drama), but over the years I've found some hidden messages & lyrics that make me say "wow, I didn't catch that at 1st." He's definitely one of the greats of our time.

This is why Kendrick doesn't disrespect hip hop by just dropping anything, he takes his time to drop classics because of the respect he has for hip hop. You can see how much it means to him. These days artists are too quick to just drop anything because we are in the streaming/microwave era, yet you have legends like Pac/BIG who became legends with 5/3 albums before their passing. Give people classics and it will last the test of time not just the moment. 🐐

It was disrespect to pac directly and to his family. The man is not here to give you that permission. But colonizers take without asking after all. When Tupac estate told him to take it down they also mentioned the fact that they were ESPECIALLY offended that his likeness was used to diss kendrick. Drake thought he ate but showed his ass as per usual

I mean, I'm even from Indonesia and since his early appearances I know this fucking Gayrake is just a clown, he shiting this genre, this culture-and seeing Kendrick now slaughter him, saving the heritage of Pac and West Coast, or even rap as a wholeness, is a huge amount of relief!!! Uncle Snoop, Dre, Game.... I've got mad respect for all y'all homie for passing the torch to Kendrick because he is and I quote, "the best out the west right now". Between you and Schoolboy, y'all got it ma'am. Handle it with pride, accept your dues that have been paid and the blessings that have been made. I'm happy when real men not niggas, because by definition anyone can be a nigga, meaning an ignorant person, for those who don't know. I pray to the almighty that get top chop it up in the studio with y'all someday. Yeah I make beats, but what I do for right now ain't even important. Handle your business young man and God will keep blessing you with those $100 bills you keep finding on the ground and surround you with people who love, respect and admire you. And that goes for all of y'all. Yeah I may be just another country ass Alabama dude who may not make a significant mark on this world but with the time I've got left, being around real cats that's unequivocally about what they say, to you say HOORAH

“It’s not on you, it’s in you.” - Nipsey Hussle We’re are so very proud of all you’ve accomplished Kendrick. From this era when you were so hungry yet trying to make sense of your world to decades later today, 2022. Still trying to make sense of your world, but with a lot more bittersweet wisdom, success, the first Pulitzer Prize given to a rapper, and now a family. Forever a fan of your art and the soul that created it. 1 of 1. 🫡 God got both hands on you.
