The reason I think this interview is so iconic and remembered as one of Nardwuar’s best is because they body understand eachother. I think Nardwuar often does a great job but the artist has some trouble completely opening up to the kind of guy Nardwuar is. Kendrick is one of those guys where it seems he understands where Nardwuar is coming from conversationally and it really improves the flow of the interview and the clarity of responses

I think the best part about this interview is that Kendrick started implementing most of the stuff they talked about in his music. The Album Cover, Compton Swap Meet, The Chicken Spot, a song with U2 etc. Maybe Nardwuar is God in disguise
