There was an interview with the creators about the show and they said we’d be seeing more different planets in season 2 if it gets picked up. I do hope we’ll see more of the Demeter crew, though
That would be rad. I also saw a few quotes from one of the producers saying ‘there’s a whole lot of vesta that hasn’t been explored.’ So maybe a bit of both!
Really? I didn't like most of the human characters in the show, I like the show, the setting, animation, editing and directing. I like almost everything about the show, but the characters were so annoying/irritating. I just wanted more time spent on the planet and it's nature, couldn't care less for most of the humans.
@@XekTOr89 I liked most of them not as people, but as characters. It makes them feel more alive and I’d like to see more of how they developed. Kamen was probably my favorite out of the season, but if I met him in real life, I’d probably try to avoid him. What I liked about him was how human he felt. Prideful, arrogant and cowardly, but also full of regret and remorse. His character arc was definitely my favorite out of them all. Seeing bits of his past through Hollow and how he transforms from a selfish douchebag who’s only out for himself to one of the head scientists for the colony in the end was pretty satisfying. Sam was also a great character. He had a lot of personality and was generally pretty likable, even though I didn’t agree with him on some things, so seeing him slowly transform into the parasite’s host was pretty nerve wracking, but seeing him tear it out made me like him even more.
I think it is possible that Sam has actually survived and is reanimated by the planet as Levi was. We see him rip out the parasite and collapse but I have a feeling the symbiosis might keep him alive and transform him further.
This and Pantheon have really reignited my love for animation, such beautiful and well edited/directed shows. I'm here for more of both....like, right now please!
If you're still thinking about that Kamen video, I have been feverishly looking for a deeper dive into the symbolism involving him. I dont know what the deal with Hollow is or why it behaved the way it did. I have so many questions!!! I would love that video. Thank you in potential advance
I just can't make myself get into speculation on a second season until we have confirmation that there will be one. It would just be too heartbreaking if there wasn't.

I honestly keep forgetting it's actually called hollow because of these videos
@@thisismitchellSeriously, I can't unsee/unhear that name for Hollow.
This is definitely a show to watch on acid or shrooms.

There won’t be a season 2 the show is good but no one watched it
It is so sad , one of the greatest series i watched
i hope if there is a season 2 it will not be focused on the same group of characters but an entirely different cast of characters
I dont think we need a second season
