This is fantastic. Thank you for demonstrating how to find award availability on Hawaiian for HNL to Tokyo flights. This is the first video I found highlighting Hawai’i to Japan flights so effectively.
for sure! most days there are more deals to Tokyo and then you can take the train to Osaka/ Kyoto, but every once in a while there are deals where it's actually better to fly to KIX using the methods outlined in this video!
What if we wanted to go from LAX or SFO to HRT or HND but have a stopover in Hawaii. Any airlines that would allow a stopover? Thank you for this super informative video!
your best option might be the Aeroplan 5k stopover method. I've never tried the Hawaiian Airlines stopover method, but Google says that's an option too
On your first example, you were looking on the SQ website LAX > NRT but then comparing to LAX > SIN in seats.aero? Is there a step I am missing? Confused as to why you searched to SIN instead of NRT in seats.aero. My apologies if I misunderstood something in the video.

Glad you found it valuable! if you know anyone else who might benefit from the tutorial, please let them know about this video too!
Great video thank you very much
thank you! glad to hear you enjoyed it and found it valuable!
For those who want to see Osaka/Kyoto instead, Kansai airport (KIX) is an option.

@@geobreezetravel Thank you! Will try it. 🙂
Just fly Southwest Airline for about $100 from SFO to Honolulu and business class from Honululu to Japan.

ooh, I think you're right! I should've searched LAX-NRT with the IATA code as SQ. Good catch!
