Built up 32 nights free after figuring costs as well with both my wife and I using multiple AE cards and Chase. Get the points then move points to hotel accounts, then cancel the cards. Next year we will focus on airlines.
Yep. Plan is to figure out destinations first way in advance then open appropriate airline cards. By the way, just because you have a Platinum AE doesn’t mean you can’t open a business AE and get bonus points. Also, great way to get cards if you have an Experian account (everyone should given so much fraud) is you sign into Experian and they link cards you can automatically sign up for there and get bonus offers. Easy.
By the way I watch you Google My Trip video. Doesn’t quite work when hitting 20 cities over 6 weeks. I create my plan in text file, then when done copy it to word. Add Google maps links to the locations, restaurants, etc. Then color all reservation times in Red BOLDED. Photos of tickets, can be inserted. Then mail to yourself and save in Apple Notes the document. This way you get the google maps links imbedded and a chronological listing of each day. The problem with Google My Maps is you don’t get a chronological listing by day. You can export it but it becomes a giant mess to rework. Easy to pull up Notes any time.
@@TheMcGrewswow this is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing your insight. I will definitely be looking into this. It sounds a little bit like the concept of the Chase Gauntlet, yeah?
What would you like to see in Part 2? I plan to go into detail about AI assistance and specifics. Let me know!
Curious on how to use which card when! Is this a Points Guy thing?
@@sean-roche YES! I’ll make sure to tell you more in part 2!
Yes please
Super easy to digest! Looking forward to the next video in the series!
Coming soon! Thank you!!!
