Wholly Molly - I love this - can you just stop for a minute LOL - goodness- one awesome one after another, you lucky thing 🤣 Pearl pours here I come - you do an amazing job Michelle - love your guidance -thanks
This is so pretty! I love it. I love that MM blue anyway, so this really speaks to me! I can't believe I won your one on one lesson!! I was so excited to see I won the lesson!! I almost didn't open that post. I just thought " I never win anything "!! Now I'm so excited I did. I will text you soon!! Thanks, Charlene
Ooooh, love this blue! I've done about....oh, half a dozen 10" x 10" paintings and a few tiles....you're helping me to get up the courage to try a pearl pour! I have collected all the ingredients, just have to wait for the confidence!
So this is really interesting because at the point where you had finished stretching and everything looked wonky is the point where I would scrape, thinking the cells can't possibly look good, but now I know my mistake...no patience at all on my part LOL...who knew nice cells could still happen and create a beautiful painting?...I didn't...Thanks Michelle for sharing this video....you're really very good at this and you're also quite funny!♥
I love Venetian blue! It does pearl nicely. Sometimes that's my only saving grace in my pearl painting 😏. Your dry brush work really made this painting come together. I love the shadows you got too!😊💙💙💙💙💙
Absolutely stunning! Your work is very impressive! Great colour combination and beautiful end results as always! Thank you for this sharing greetings from Canada 🇨🇦 wish you all the best
Thank you so much Michelle! This is the video I've been waiting for. Oddly enough I ordered the correct ingredients 2 days ago so I dove right in. Well, it pearled a little but I watched for the 3rd time a realized I didn't add gac and pouring medium to my puddle paint! Ugh!! And I'm pretty sure my base was still too thick so I'm gonna keep trying until I get it! You are amazing❤
Ya…not sure if you noticed that most of the video was thinning out the paint. Crucial. Next to vertical tilt. Wow…this sounds like the Olympics!! Lol 😅
From 1 color? Wow. I liked how you embellished the middle at the end, I've never tried that. And the up close and personal in the beginning had me rolling...I'll know that hand anywhere! LOL
Lovely! Lovely! I've been on a no more paints mode until I use up a lot of what I have already. Any blues you can suggest by Liquitex Basics you can suggest? Have you tried the Colbalt Blue Metallic?
Ahhh okay, I was using too many decoart metallics! This was tremendously helpful, thank you! What if you want something other than a black, white or gray base? Since we use artist loft white or black I’ve had problems with everything turning pastel…
So beautiful!! The paint fluid test did not show up on the video. Were both the white pearl and the Venetian paints flow at the same rate? or was the white thinner?
Gorgeous, Michelle! Great idea for the center….I would have probably poured over it. About your recipe….you can’t get these pearls results with Amy other recipe? Just curious! I am amazed and appreciative of the time you take in searching for the right recipe. Thank you!! 💐
Oh sweetie!! There are so many recipes. And they have different results. This is my fave, Sara Taylor and I worked hard on it. but the satin enamel white from behr is close. The 7050. Give it a try. You may be able to get a sample at Home Depot do you’re not investing that much into it. Thin consistency and vertical tilting is paramount
This is such a great video as I’m a newbie, but I wish it was redone so I could see the recipe next to the products better. Idk why this technique feels so intimidating to me, but it does 😂it confuses me
Michelle, I’m going to tackle your recipe today but I have a quick question…can I use the Behr 8300 instead of the 7300, because that’s all I have? I just don’t want to mix it all up for it not to work if it’s better to just wait until I can get the 7300 this weekend. Thank you so much for all your help!! Much love, Treesie💐💝💐
Well..we tested a multitude of products and these worked best for the price and results. You could try a deep base untinted like Valspar or other brand…also the apple barrel is available on Amazon or Walmart even cheaper especially online . The results you get from other products will vary that’s all.
Beautiful painting! As always. Would you please put a link to the behr paint? I’ve searched everywhere and can’t find it. I even scoured Home Depot. Thank you!
It’s Behr 7300. They don’t list it on the website. You have to go into the store and just take it off the shelf. It doesn’t have pigment in it, so the associates don’t realize you’re tinting it yourself. And I’ve never been able to order online for pick up, I used to live in Michigan….Royal oak
Wow!! I’d love to see your Decoart metallic pearl pieces. I’ve had very minimal luck with it. Can you share it on my email. GCFluidart@gmail.com I’d love to hear how you make it work.
I watched your video on how to get the perfect pearls, very good. I have been trying but all I get is vert small pearls. So could you explain what determines the size and amount of pearls? Also is there a substitute for GAC 800, it is hard to get and very expensive. Thanks for you help.
Golden color gloss medium is a great substitute for both the GAC800 and liquitex pouring medium. Just a dab will do ya. You’ll get larger pearls with thinner paint. Hope you’ll try this recipe and have success. .
Michelle…did you know that Amazon just put out “the Original” Artist Loft Flow (2) bottles for $25 …they stated the Original highlighted in the title twice …The AL Soft is also listed…thought of your dislike for the Soft..I was in shock when I saw it was back…They Heard You.😃
Ahhh yes!!! I ordered it. It’s not the original. It’s the 2021. I ordered from eBay and it came from Amazon. I made sure I asked if it was the 2019. They didn’t know. But they were advertising it as original. I sent it back with a bad review and told them they were misrepresenting what they were offering.
Thanks for the great instructions on pearls! You rock!
Love that venetian blue😊
This is gorgeous.🤩💞🤩
Beautiful work!
Wow, great video, and thank you for sharing!!🎨🎨🎨🎨🎨🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you! Cheers!
Oh my!!! I have been wanting to try this! Thank you so much for your in-depth presentation of how to accomplish it.
You are so welcome!
I love that wood smell too. My sister and I love to go into Home Depot just for that wood smell
Very pretty 😍
I'm new to fluid art only a month but I have done 90. Your Art is amazing.
You literally take the best from all of my favorite artists and combine them. I’ve been trying this for a year. Your paintings are amazing!!
Do you teach in the New Jersey area?
Beautiful 💙💙💙💙💙
VERY NICE!!!! I am now looking forward to buying the Venetian Blue now🤪
Such a FANTASTIC instructional video!! 💥Holy cow! 🐄 Nice job 🤗🤗🥂

You always make the most beautiful pearls. They are one of my favorites, that you do. Thank you 😊 💓
I LOVE what you have done, it looks fabulous!!
🎶 Tiny bubbles 🫧 - I got a chuckle Lol 😊
So cool ! Great info too😁 thanks
Beautiful Michelle! Your video was very informative and I’m definitely going to try! Thanks for sharing! ❤️
Wow, this was gorgeous! Love it ❤️
Thank you for this video ❤
I tried using Liquitex gouache and it worked great! Sky blue (Of course a blue) Probably works because it’s such a serious opaque paint.
Thank you it is gorgeous
Gorgeous thx

Ok…I just sent you some courage!!
Just go for it! TRUST the thin consistency!
Love it Michele. Thank you for doing this video. I will definitely try this technique. I now have all the products!!

Thanks Evie!! Yup. Consistency, tilting and patience.. three most important ingredients,

Thank you for the video. I have all ingredients but that water looking stuff. Lol. This week after I clean my studio I’m on it. ❤
From 1 color? Wow. I liked how you embellished the middle at the end, I've never tried that. And the up close and personal in the beginning had me rolling...I'll know that hand anywhere! LOL
😂🤣😂
Hi!
It’s gorgeous! Thanks for this tutorial.
May I ask where you get your bigger container you use for mixing your base?
Lovely! Lovely! I've been on a no more paints mode until I use up a lot of what I have already. Any blues you can suggest by Liquitex Basics you can suggest? Have you tried the Colbalt Blue Metallic?

Wow a lot of stuff, I don't know if I'm going to to be able to do that. And w hat was that stuff with the "Z" on the jar. I loved it.
So beautiful!! The paint fluid test did not show up on the video. Were both the white pearl and the Venetian paints flow at the same rate? or was the white thinner?

Yes…you can. It’s a bit thicker so you may need to adjust the water.
@@gratefulcreations wonderful! Thank you so much!! Fingers crossed I make it work! 🤞🏼💐
I was wondering if you put an epoxy or sealant on your finished piece? If you do what do you use? Thanks!
Instead of using 1 oz of Behr 7300 as a substitute for the Deco Art S.E , have you tried substituting another oz of the Behr 7050?
What if I don't have BEHR 7300 or AppleBarrel whit, BUT I DO HAVE Floetrol and DecoArt satin Enamel ?
Well..we tested a multitude of products and these worked best for the price and results. Oh! I live in the USA. Michigan
Beautiful piece but when you do final touch up on blue. Do you use just regular acrylic blue paint or mixed pearl paint?
Both usually. Thanks so much
Hi Michelle this is Lilly I watch you all the time does that mean that you have to prepare the color ones the same way to have the same consistency
Yes. I did a drip test to compare the colors to the base. Now it’s ok to have your base just slightly thinner but not by much
I have tried doing those different brands deco art Liquitex Artesa americana all of that and I still can do it
Wow!! I’d love to see your Decoart metallic pearl pieces. I’ve had very minimal luck with it. Can you share it on my email. GCFluidart@gmail.com I’d love to hear how you make it work.

Thanks for the advice I will try it. I don’t think I can get my paints much thinner without the paint just running off but I will try. Thanx again.
Would you mind explaining what monochromatic means please ❤

Did some research..the Amazon is 2020….I cancelled my order..cancelled, no question-hum🤫
I forgot…Thank You lovely lady
