Words can’t express how much you have helped me with my pearl pour I’ve been experimenting for over a month watching numerous videos Yours was the only one I’ve succeeded with 😘thanks again you’re the best
Hello, it's last day of November when I'm looking to learn more about pearl pours and mixing the 'pour over' paint when to my pleasant pleasure I was introduced to your channel. Enjoyed very much following your demonstration, even rewinding several times. Your wording and tone of voice was served me well on what I wanted to know about Pearl Pours. Thank you very much, Carol D. High Falls Ga.
Glorious results without having to invest in a variety of products and concocting a recipe that works. LUV the color palate too. Guess I'll have to dust off my canvasses and get to mixing and pouring...it all got overwhelming for a minute. My courage is now restored.
I just saw this video a few days ago. I want to thank you for putting this together. I have tried months if not a year to try to get cells in my paintings with no success until now. I can’t believe it actually worked. Again thanks and I love your work.
I just came across your video, I was so intrigued that I went and tried your method right away. It was success at first try. Some of my webs however became lighter, maybe my mix was too thin. I added a couple drops of black acrylic ink; it seemed that the webbings remained darker. I need to experiment more to prove this point to myself. Since I like to control where the cells are, this method worked with swiping and blowing. This too I will need to work with this more. I love the many colors of the pearl if produced.
OMG you are so awesome showing us how to this painting. I'm blown away that there is no silicone. I've been using the DecoArt peacock blue for awhile. I love the color and I'm great full that I can sometimes find it in my local dollar stores. This is the coolest painting I've ever made and it was easy to do. I'm going to try again with some different metallics. Gina DeLuca has a tutorial on paint consistency that will be very useful for your peeps. It's a must see and I've learned a lot from her. Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial. ❤️
@@HartAcrylicArt Heather Mader mentioned in one of her videos that the gac800 is just the same as the color pouring medium gloss by golden. The ingredients are similar. I also use the color pm gloss with the floetrol but i didn't get this beautiful pearl cells. I think my black is to thick. But i will try next time with a thinner black.
Thank you very much for showing how you do this pour. I tried it and for the first time, I actually have cells galore. Yours can't out awesome as well.
Did it work with the Amsterdam-Black??? Can't buy Artists Loft in germany 😞 I've already got some extreme sheene-colours, but can't get any artists loft. This video is so good!!! Love that painting. Thank you Kim for sharing . Following you ;-)
Thank you for the tutorial, I have asked for this from others and have yet to even get a sorry to busy or anything at all. So again thank you I am very grateful.
Merci infiniment pour toutes ces explications. Le résultat est magnifique !!!! Il ne me reste plus qu'à m'y mettre. Bonne continuation et à bientôt 😇😇😇🙏🙏🙏
This is 👏 amazing! I'm going to try this and put each color up against the next and see if I can get a gradient type effect. NEW subscriber and your tutorial was spot on🥰💯
Sad for me here in Australia our Floetrol is useless unless for the swipe or bloom but for swipe we have to use expensive pouring medium and just use the Aussie flow troll for the cell activator and getting any pouring medium in Australia. So expensive because it’s all coming over from America Canada, Germany
Hi there I just want to thank you for all the information that you have so nicely shared so appreciate all the advice in this video look forward to watching your videos painting turned out amazing 😍
I know this video was made in 2021 but I am new to acrylics and this video has helped me so much.Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us. I follow you and have learned so much. You are amazingly talented and humble and those characteristics are very hard to find these days. ~ with hope Belinda~
I don’t pour anymore, but thank you so much for the kind words. I truly appreciate it. I’m glad these videos are still helpful. All the best in your pouring journey :)
I love how you have the effects of the various colors coming through. It's really pretty. Yep, I came when I read No Aussie, silicone or satin enamels as well. I happened to get that same Golden pouring medium by (accident! - thought I was clicking GAC 800) and I haven't been sure how well it works, but I have been starting to play with it. My pearl cells have been hit and miss so far - sometimes I get them and other's I don't - but I'm so happy to see how well the same Golden medium worked for you in this painting! Maybe I just had a happy accident that turned out to be highly beneficial! 💜💜💜💜
Thanks! I do love mixing the Golden pouring medium with my floetrol. It helps thin the paint down without using too much water. And pearl pours are definitely a hit or miss type of pour!
Kim, I love your artwork. It was beautiful. The cells appeared on your canvas. Your squeeze bottle has Floetrol and your other bottle has black paint. I finally saw you squeezing your bottles. I love it when you mix separate colors of paint in your cups with their measuring black labels. I watched Andrea Mercier's old videos about mixing the paint the 50/50 way. I knew she had very many squeeze bottles that had paint. I figure that you would've wanna have about 80 of 'em. I still love her acrylic pouring channel. I wish I could try the round squeeze bottles with their measuring black labels.
Beautiful congrats all your video tutorials are fantastic ..thanks....I really like this process better you get less mixing of the color than in the dirty pour and all the cells have beautiful bright beautiful colors. thanks never done it this way can't way to try it, enjoying your channel so much xx
thank you for this tutorial, it's magnificent and magical to see these beautiful cells rising above the painting. On the other hand, I don't speak or understand English and I didn't understand the black color you use on the video. What products do you use and the dosages for black. Thank you for your reply.
Thank you! It is Artist’s Loft flow acrylic. It’s mixed 1:1 with floetrol then water as needed. Any acrylic will work but it needs to be mixed to the same consistency.
Thanks for the awesome video, I loved it! and the pearls came out amazing. I'm new at this technique but after watching you, Meta and Julie I think I'm ready to give it a go
I've been watching so many videos I'm going crazy yous was so simple and ingredients not to expensive I think you just had 2 right? Did you put a base down or put the paint down on a bare canvas.tell me no if I keep watching all these videos I'll be broke and I'll have to come an live with you ha ha.this was so pretty when I seen all that black go down I was scared the black will take over so many cells just loved it please answer my ? If you can sorry this so long.thank you 😘😘😘😘😘
Yes! It can be mind boggling watching so many videos. For this one, I used American Floetrol and the Golden color pouring medium gloss. No base. I just put my metallics straight onto the canvas. As long as your bottom colors are a little thicker and your pour over paint is very thin, it should work.
Does this only work with metallic paints? Or will it work with any color? Thank you so much for sharing your time and talents with us it was very informative and I’m saving this video.

Finally a Pearl recipe & method that makes sense to me! You did a great job of explaining & demonstrating exactly what to do - thank you very much.

THANK YOU😀. So much. That was an awesome and amazing tutorial. Your art is beautiful.😊
I finally got some Gac 800. I'm going to try this out! The pour came out absolutely seriously stunning!!! 🤩🤩🤩
Those cells are amazeballs!
Thank you!! Can’t wait to see yours with the gac. I haven’t tried that stuff, but I do love Golden’s gloss medium 😁

This is exactly what I stumbled upon this video for! Thank you so much. I love pearls. Can’t wait to try now.
Oh, and I used the same brand as in your tutorial. Only my black top was Amsterdam and watered it down to a drip with no mound.
Did it work with the Amsterdam-Black??? Can't buy Artists Loft in germany 😞 I've already got some extreme sheene-colours, but can't get any artists loft.

Very helpful tutorial! 5Thanks!
You had me at no aussie, silicone or satin enamel

Just so you know, the deco art is actually a satin enamel. From what I’ve gathered the best pearl cells require it.
@@Whatintheworld259 I didn’t even mention that i love that its only 3 colors and i own them all!!!
This turned out awesome! Very beautiful color palette.
Thank you!
