Right?!? I can’t remember where I first saw them but once I did I knew I had to keep an eye out for the series. Only one more issue to go!

I loved Marvel team up and two-in-one when I was a kid, fun times, as usual great buys on the cheap Chris!

Thanks! I agree, they are appealing. Might be the kind of titles I look for as collected editions someday. Until then, fun to pick up the odd issue here and there with characters I like.

    Hi Chris,
    I really admire your patience.
If I really want to read a specific storyline I buy all the books needed at once. I don´t think I could wait until I got every book for the run for a buck or less.

It’s not always easy to wait. It helps that on any given day there are so many things to read so I just focus on the things I do have while I hunt for the things I don’t. Easier said than don though! Sometime I get the itch and just want to complete it NOW😂

Great books sir. I didn't know of the Spider-Man Red Sonja, interesting. I have the first comic where they appear together, Marvel Team-Up 79 from March 1979. Just subscribed .

Oh, that Marvel Team Up is a cool issue to own! The closest I have is the reprint from Marvel Tales 208. Thanks for the sub!

I have to admit, it took me longer than it should have to figure out what "tromboning" meant! Can't believe I hadn't heard that one before
I almost came home with about 2500 books last night. Saw a post on marketplace with some pictures. One of which was uncanny x-men 221. Wanted about 15 cents per book for the whole lot. Unfortunately, when I got there to see them in person they were pretty rough. Then after digging, it looked like they had been cherry picked. uncanny 265 and 267 were there, but not 266. Same situation with Amazing spider-man. Suspiciously mising a chunk from around 294 -320. Had to pass.
Looks like you had some great books picked up! Always enjoy the bronze/copper stuff. Great finds!
p.s. Trying to get ahold of you via email. If you could check when you get a second I'd appreciate it!

Ah yes, wasn’t sure how common that expression was but apt nonetheless!
Oh man! So slice on those books. A real bummer they had been picked over. That’s definitely one of the best ways to score books cheap. Keep looking though. You never know when that great opportunity will come along.
Omg, yes I’m so sorry! I’ll get to my email!!
Thanks as always Richard. It’s always great to hear from you.
