Amazing song! Ah, the trashing of equipment at the end of the show! This ritual has a historic significance for Muse, referring back to their origins. Muse was formed in 1994 and their "baptism" at a band was a Battle of the Bands gig (at the Broadmeadow Sports Centre in Devon). They played that gig with the moniker "Rocket Baby Dolls" and, after a 20 minute set, they ended in a frenzy of equipment smashing and crashing, helped by crazed fans. Due to this explosive "happening", they realized that they should take their Rock & Roll ambitions more seriously. They soon changed their name to Muse and the rest is history. But, that ritual of ending shows with a spasm of equipment smashing is something they continued to feature, at various gigs, for years to come. You should watch their 2001 live DVD called "Hullabaloo", specifically the song called "Bliss". This was the show-ender and they went nuts at the end and destroyed their equipment and it's a bloody miracle no one got injured. You have to see that! Look up Bliss live 2001 Hullabaloo to see and react to that performance!
“Fury” from Royal Albert Hall is another one of those classic Muse songs you have to watch. It’s one of the band’s most requested songs from fans, even though they rarely play it. It’s a gem.
@@71paob Nah, Royal Albert Hall is better. The way Matt plays that main riff in that performance is unreal. The quality of the audio and video is also better from that performance.
Muse is not only the greatest modern ACTUAL "Band". They are highly intelligent. This can be witnessed as they often improvise at the end of songs, and with many of these improvisations they are actually live testing for new compositions.
If you enjoyed this song, you should definitely check out the Muse stockholm syndrome live supersonic version. This is the second time they ever played the song and the band and audience went crazy.
Go see them. It's worth every penny. That's all that can be said. There will be a day they are no longer touring and this is one of those bands that come along that you need to see live.
seen them in a small radio arena in UK and it was unbearably good. I felt I was being shattered and put back together by sound alone. I have never been to anyone else's concert and I cherish my experience of the once with this band because of how much of an put of body experience it was. it was so good, I'm afraid of the day that I might walk away less that satisfied. I dont want my 1st and only experience to be marred by anything.
When I first got into listening to Muse, I absolutely loathed this track. Jump ahead 11 years and now it's one of my favorite. I dunno why and it's one of the only songs where this has happened to me
I can’t remember which of your Muse videos you said it but you wanted to hear a drum solo from Dom. The link below is from the song Hysteria which have already reacted to but at the end they throw in some Led Zeppelin and AC/DC followed with what Muse call ‘Munich Jam’. It’s Dom and Chris having some fun. Listen from exactly 6 mins for ‘Munich Jam’. I wouldn’t mind seeing your reaction to it. ruclips.net/video/qA0iQwNTVK0/видео.html
Been fortunate enough to have seen Muse live 3 times. Once in 2015 for Drones (Manchester Arena, UK) and twice in 2019 for Simulation Theory (London Stadium and Manchester Ethihad). Their live shows are stunning, a work of art in themselves. You're on such a high after their show! You really need to get to a live (CoVid-19 permitting!). They do jam in-between tracks frequently! I don't know if you're aware that Dom (Dominic Howard) the drummer is left handed, so has his kit arranged accordingly. 🙂 Other band members: Matthew Bellamy (lead guitarist, main vocals), Chris Wolstenholme (bassist, backing vocals). Anothet nugget for you: Matt has the world record for most guitars broken during a tour - 140 in 2004! I think I've just outed myself as a Muse nerd! I guess that's what happens if you've been a fan since their first single in 1999! 😳
Yes agree with some similarity to Assassin also one of my favorites. I've listened to little other than Muse for the last 16 years. Saw them live about 12 years ago awesome experience I wanted at least once in my life. I prefer the first few albums to the last few but starting to grow on me a bit. Have you heard 'in your world' yet? A very short song but packed with Muse awesomeness
Check out The Jaded Hearts Club. Muse front man takes a backseat and chill as the bassist for the supergroup. Fave songs include Reach Out I'll Be There (Muse drummer makes an appearance!), I Put A Spell On You and Long and Lonesome Road.
They play 3 songs after the song ends, not sure the last one but the first one is township rebellion by rage against the machine, second is execution commentary a B-side of plug in baby
Please go to the Saitama concert of Muse and listen to Bliss. Probably one of their best live performances ever. There's no single video of that particular song from that particular concert, but you will find it in the concert footage. Also, it's one of their most classic and iconic song, so it is kind of a must do?!:D cheers.
I see this show often reviewed by people such as yourself, I find it very frustrating because this is a small theatre show and not really representative of their live shows generally. The stage was very basic for this one but usually it's much more extravagant I suggest that you maybe look for a festival or stadium show going forward! Ie Glastonbury, Download or Reading festival, Wembley or Rome Olympic Stadium shows, you will see what I mean!
He's done the big venues in previous videos, nothing wrong with focusing just on the song and not the stagecraft on occasions, they bring it whatever the size of arena/stadium
@@mattcasey7797 oh he has ok fair enough, just feel he's only getting half the story with this show? As it's really a one off in my opinion. They've earnt their reputation for great Iive shows and this isnt typical of their love shows generally.
Its a must! Seen them 4 times and they are incredible live

And Yes you should do an ENTIRE Hullabaloo Reaction... It show's where they came from!!!

Bliss at the mayan is also an amazing performance
Muse is not only the greatest modern ACTUAL "Band". They are highly intelligent. This can be witnessed as they often improvise at the end of songs, and with many of these improvisations they are actually live testing for new compositions.
Hi from Spain. I have been 1 Muse concert in Barcelona stadium and was Awesome. The best band concert of my live. Wow. Saludos
Since you love the drummer, you should definitely watch 'hysteria + munich jam live' which he has a wild drum solo at the end
I second this
I've seen them twice in 2016 & 2019. Best shows I've been to, better than when I saw 21 Pilots & Metallica. Best live band in the world
Didn't knew this channel. But since you are making Muse reacts, I will be subscribing right now!
Welcome 🙏
Saw them at Wembley 2012, great live, thanks for this bud.

That bass should look incredible at nearly £4K
You are great! Love your reactions about Muse!
Hey man thanks for reacting to Muse again! If you like drums yeah hysteria is good but also I would say Dead inside or Microcuts
Outro riffs/songs:
Township Rebellion - RATM
Execution Commentary - (Their own instrumental song)
Endless Nameless - Nirvana

I find that Muse makes music that will appeal , at different stages of maturity and world interests.
2:46 This looks like it was at the Mayan. I was there... it was unbelievable. I've seen them many, many times and it's worth it every time.
You just reacted to one of their top 3 songs, consistently voted among the fandom as one of their all time greatest, up there with citizen erased
I vote for these two and Knights of Cydonia. The top 3 from Muse.
@@viniciusfrota8350 for me its probably Citizen Erased, Blackout, Stockholm, knights is amazing though

In my top 3 fav Muse songs, and this live performance is definitely the best version of it imho.
Great reaction ty
What a banger!
If you like Doms drumming you'll love Muse 'the Handler - live at Roskilde'.
Yes 👍🏼❤
I love it! Please react to Showbiz and Bliss live Reading festival 2006.
FINALLY, my fav Muse song, and no it's actually not because I'm from Stockholm, lol. Now I'll watch.......
Please react to Muse Invincible live at Haarp!
Love your muse reactions, pretty sure you'll go to a Muse show soon!
They play 3 songs after the song ends, not sure the last one but the first one is township rebellion by rage against the machine, second is execution commentary a B-side of plug in baby
Just refound this comment thanks to the heart lol, the last riff is a slightly modified and improvised version of endless nameless by nirvana

Yeah so right Rage against the machine.. I never noticed it.
Yeah definitely got a bit of that influence in there, I love when bands sample others.. And Rage against the machine is a good one to sample...
Great reaction, and this is a great live performance. But you will put original on your playlist, because you will not regret.
Thanks Pia :)

Personally this is the beat recording sound wise for sure
@@johnwoodberry3707 it is a good sound but visually it's a bit tame
