I was there,, going to a muse gig back then was absolutely awesome,, so much energy, like walking through a door and someone slamming it in your face, R.I.P Earls Court
I like that he came in expecting Coldplay, because the radio experience of that era was very much expecting Coldplay. But, just occasionally, Muse would happen.
Muse assassin at the mayan, plug in baby at Rome Olympic stadium, citizen erased live at Glastonbury and space dementia at pinkpop are all amazing songs that I'd recommend reacting to
They just released Won't Stand Down single just last week. The entire Muse fandom went nuts because they went back to their iconic heavy rock roots (similar to this song). You should check that out too!
Took my daughter to see Muse, it was her 1st concert when she was 12. I found seats to the side of the stage about 40 ft away from Matt's piano and Amp 🤘We saw them 3 times total, some of the best live shows ever!
I was there,, going to a muse gig back then was absolutely awesome,, so much energy, like walking through a door and someone slamming it in your face, R.I.P Earls Court
They actually turned the outro riff into a song 12 years after the songs release, though it is only part of the live performance and can't be found on the album version
I think you're referring to Psycho which was edited out of this video. Neither Township Rebellion or the wall of noise have been featured in studio tracks since this gig
Wow, that show brings back some memories. I was lucky enough to go to the show the night before that and was in the second row of the crowd. I've never been so squashed in my life but damn it was epic! A whole 18 years ago now! Muse's back catalogue is epic. Hysteria and Deadstar are personal favourites
That reaction was lit, can't wait for you to see more muse, listen to some of the following comments and let them guide you through a amazing journey of music you are yet to explore .
Muse's early stuff is really heavy and powerful, and live they are out of this world Absolution, the album where this song is from is definitely worth a complete listening
So happy you did this one. Muse is my sisters fav band so ofcourse went to see them in Stockholm (fitting...because I live there, hehe) a few years ago before hell came. This is my absolute favourite song of them.
Thank you so much!! Knights of Cydonia is currently in copyright jail so that will appear next month, but I got 2 other muse reactions on the channel and more to come 😁
You picked one of the best performance of this amazing song, keep doing muse reactions, they are my favourite band of all time and id love to see someone get into them the same as i have Some suggestions Citizen erased live hulabaloo 2001 Blackout live at Wembley 2010 Muscle museum shepherds bush 2017 Assassin mayan 2015
Concerning songs like Stockholm Syndrome in live, Muse like to add as outro, guitar riffs from bands they love like Nirvana, Deftones, AC/DC, Rage Against The Machine. Also, they frequently played a riff made by them which will become the song Psycho in 2015 on their 7th album called Drones.
Gonna just say it Lee… I challenge you and something you said: *_YOU HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING PAST THE INTRO OF UPRISING_* I’m going to make Uprising a request 😂😂😂 I know exactly why you think it’s a doctor who song, but I think you need to hear it once through before telling everyone you’ve heard it 🤣🤣🤣🤣
"You've not head a word he's said", that's a mix of some of the distortion he uses on the vocal and this is poorly recorded example of the song. Earls court wasn't specifically recorded for anything, probably come from the mixing board at the time. Live at the Mayan as has already been mentioned is a much better example and also has Stockholm Syndrome on. Some of the examples that were recorded by BBC (Glasto) don't have a great mix on the broadcast recording.
Also....Since you're UK, the last tour "Simulation Theory" was recorded is on BBC iPlayer as a whole, worth a watch if you want example of more than just one genre, although doesn't contain that much from earlier albums. Includes subtitles if you're really struggling. 😄
Muse got screwed early on in America. Record label bs (Madonna's record label to be exact). They broke out late here unfortunately and it pisses me off all the time. The world needs Muse more than ever right now!!! I am a musician and that is my remedy. Peace brother, happy you enjoyed Stockholm Syndrome.
"I thought they were chill like Coldplay"...🤣🤣🤣...I almost spit out my coffee. This is pure Muse live 🔥🔥🔥
Haha I'd only really heard the Dr who sounding one and that's what I was going off 🤣🤣🤣

Muse do prog rock, alt rock, hard rock mainly, with some electronic elements.
Muse do a bit of everything 😅
@@Aidan-mm4zm they did gospel for Christ sake! 😂
Wow!!! Never seen this version before.
So many great performance by muse in 2004. I would say that year was their prime and peak performance.
Muse's early stuff is really heavy and powerful, and live they are out of this world

One million cred to the person that recommended this specific song.
And this specific performance.
Oh man you're going to love Muse of you like this tune. Highly recommend 'the small print' from this same gig.
Last time i heard this song is a long time ago. jesus this song is still a masterpiece

I love Tarja's version of Supremacy but you should really check out the original by Muse.
You need to check out Assassin, Reapers, Citizen Erased, MK Ultra, Hysteria, Unsustainable, Plug In Baby.
This was great! I'm subbed for more Muse reacts. :D
Thank you so much!! Knights of Cydonia is currently in copyright jail so that will appear next month, but I got 2 other muse reactions on the channel and more to come 😁
Muse hold world record for most guitar smashes during a tour
Hysteria.
if that's earls court, i was there - lucky me
They like to interlude between songs at concert some great jams
You picked one of the best performance of this amazing song, keep doing muse reactions, they are my favourite band of all time and id love to see someone get into them the same as i have

And also a lot of distorsion on Matt's voice, especially on The Small Print .... which is bloody awsome!!!! 🤩
Sound a bit like Coldplay do they. Lol. Get the full repertoire of Muse, go listen to their Globalist song at Glastonbury
