[I want to quickly preface this by saying this vlog had to come first and then my Vistara vlog. However, due to certain issues, I had to post that one before this. Apologies.]
Welcome to the channel. This marks my first flight vlog of 2024, featuring a journey with Akasa Airlines from Mumbai's Terminal 1️⃣ (T1) to Ahmedabad's Terminal 1️⃣ (T1).
While I had hoped for Terminal 2 (T2) experiences at both airports, sometimes we have to go with the flow.
The flight took an interesting turn towards the end when I observed concerning behavior from @akasa_air's pilots. It seems their conduct has not just been a disappointment to the airline but also disrespectful to the crew. I can't help but wonder if passengers have experienced the same treatment.
To clarify, I didn't directly communicate with the pilot, but information about their behavior reached me through other channels.
I recently flew with Akasa Air, India's youngest scheduled domestic airline, on the Boeing 737 MAX, specifically the Boeing 737-8 variant. This aircraft family, once a benchmark in narrow-body aviation, faced controversy due to issues with its MAX generation, resulting in tragic incidents.

The unsettling feeling resurfaced with the incident involving Alaska Airlines' Flight 1282, where a mid-air problem led to the ripping off of the Boeing 737-9 MAX's window just 6 minutes after take-off.

Here is my experience on my return flight with Vistara, which was considerably smoother than what I experienced with Akasa Airlines.

How was your flight experience.....i mean the comfort in that aircraft ? How is it as compared to A320 neo...
Hi, so the seats are very thin. Don’t expect too much of cushioning. The leg space felt tight and I’m 5’9 - 5’10. I always have a headache when flying on 737 MAX but since this was a shorter flight, I didn’t feel much.
The aircraft otherwise had a nice ambience and in-flight lighting.
Oh, and comparing it with A320 NEO, it was no where close. I am sorry but the A320s feel way more comfortable than the 737s. I also spoke of it in my recent review of IndiGo.
@@yeavgeek oh thanks for your response.....i have always flied in A320 neos ..... i will be flying for the first time in B737 max 8 ...so i got an idea now .
Mumbai is metro city and Ahmedabad is not mind yr language
Hi @vijayvadera4558 , I am really sorry. I didn't mean to offend anyone or criticize Ahmedabad. What I was trying to say is that Ahmedabad deserves a much better terminal given its importance in the state of Gujarat. Again, sorry if it bothered you. I'll keep your suggestions in mind for my upcoming videos. ☺
