This song is absolutely god-awful. Don't get me wrong, I'm not here to bash on anyone. I am machine is one of the greatest Three Days Grace songs I've ever heard. But this song is just garbage lyrics. Matt has a good voice, he will just never be as lyrically talented as Adam. Matt wrote very generic lyrics. Adam wrote from the Heart.

3DG & Breaking Benjamin are my main bands I listen to the most always makes my day better. I seen Breaking Benjamin with Five finger death punch last December in little Rock Arkansas & they were awesome. I just seen Disturbed & 3DG in Nashville in March. I'm going to see Breaking Benjamin, three days grace, diamante , dorothy, Chevell ,and 3 doors down in St.Louis MO the 21 of July. It's going to be awesome.

This song reminds me of the stress in life and how we just keep going no matter what...no matter if we're sad, depressed...or lonely.
I remember when 3DG came out with their first album. There was nothing else like it at the time. I loved them then and I love them now. I will always have a stronger connection to the original band for nostalgia reasons, but I still really appreciate what the new lead singer is doing for the band now. I look forward to listening to future albums.

I can kind of relate to this song. It kind of expresses being lost and not being sure of what to do but you just try to learn and slowly carve your own path and move on till you eventually find out your true way.
I thought it had to do with right and left wings, and how everybody wants to be part of one or another, and also the german part as a symbolism due to the history: and the Berlin wall which split germany into 2: Right and Left.
