Wizards and Warriors Channel fantasy animated documentary video series on the lore Warhammer Fantasy Battles Universe continues with an aftermath of our episode on the life and battle of Sigmar Heldenhammer ( • How Sigmar Won His Bat... ). Crisis called the End Times is upon the world and it is beckoned by the Champion of Chaos Archaon the Everchosen. In the aftermath of his conquest if the Norsca and victory over the northern Dwarfs ( • Warhammer End Times: R... ), continues its advance this time attacking Kislev ruled by the Ice Queen Katarin Bokha ( • Warhammer End Times: C... ). This opened the route towards the Auric Bastion raised by the leading wizard of the Empire Balthasar Gelt and its breaking in Ostland culminated at the battle of the Castle Rackspire, where the Empire received unexpected help from the Vampire counts in the face of Vlad von Carstein ( • Chaos Invades the Empi... ). But this was just the beginning and the Chaos incursion into the Empire continued with the Rise of the Glottkin brothers ( • Rise of the Glottkin -... ) which led to the Fall of Marienburg ( • Fall of Marienburg - W... ). The inexorable movement of the Chaos armies continued with the Skaven invasion of Tilea and the siege of Miragliano ( • Skaven Invasion - Warh... ) and during the fall of Bretonnia.

The Kingdom of Bretonnia folks
A system of governance that relies on twelve men given glowing Gatorade by a whimsical Florence and the machine partygoer. Who decide after killing all threats to there realm decide what's best for everyone else. So the glowing guys with swords are in charge got it m,Lord I'll just move this filth around and listen to the magical groupies.
Lady comes out of the water and passes out Gatorade. Everyone drinks.

-They literally forgot about Skarsnik… by their own admission.
-Malekith this whole time was the true King but failed because he jumped out of the Flames of Asuryan second too early…. Yeah centuries of civil war because Asuryan is retarded.
-Thorgrim dies because he forgot to close a door… and his armor literally made for preventing backstabs didn’t protect him for some reason
-Karl Franz was Sigmar the whole time
-The world ends because Mannfred makes the stupidest decision in Vampire history

@Putuna it was almost like a marketing ploy to start selling new figurines. I don't play Warhammer but I k own alot of people who do and it sucks they put thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours assembling and painting only for GW to flush it down the drain and from what I understood the writing was poor. rather then try to salvage the Warhamer Fantasy Universe. It's like when the killed Optimus Prime. But I will say Kings and Generals is doing their best to salvage it.

Gilles didn’t go to reikland…it was louen that went there. Gilles allowed him to go do an errantry on reikland to help the empire out. Gilles stayed in Bretonnia the whole time to prepare for the end. While he was there he fought Abhorash in a duel and won(though they never said who won), Abhorash ended up bending the knee to him. And during the last moments of warhammer, it was Bretonnia & Athel Loren that were the last remnants left to fight in the final battle. Unfortunately they never mentioned how the duo Giles & Abhorash fought against a horde of daemons, that would have been a badass moment to see/read.

I wonder if you would create a new End Times, a one that makes sense and cool then make a series about it.
I really hope you guys plan on making videos about famous Warhammer Fantasy battles other than the ones that took place in the End Times. Not only are there so many more to choose from, lot of Fantasy fans won't touch End Times lore, so you're not getting as many views as you could by covering, for example, the battles against the Skaven during the Black Plague of 1111.
Many factions of Warhammer fantasy could get their own series. The history of the Elves, the Dwarves, Lizardmen, Tomb Kings, etc.
I'm sure they will, I think they want to get the most well known out the way first, Empires founding/end times.

Watching this video while playing immortal empires and getting angry at the forces of chaos, green skins leads me to do one thing…..SUMMON THE ELECTOR COUNTS!!!!
This was real difficult to follow. Not because of the video format but because of the events in question. I got lost multiple times, it threw me for a loop when the chaos started attacking and I'm trying to find a reason for their involvement. Then the grand enchantress disappeared and I don't believe we found out why she did or what happen to her.
That's why the End Times are so... How to do i put it lightly? They are so... So fucking hated by so fucking many lol
The End Times are poorly written, and W&W hasn't even covered the worst parts of it yet.
The Fay Enchantress was kidnapped iirc as part of the ritual to resurrect Nagash. Chaos was invading because Archaon had been crowned Everchosen and when that happens Chaos launches these giant invasions towards the south. The reason it comes across as confusing is because there is not just one storyline happening a lot of the time but multiple storylines that interconnect.
This is pretty much the last good bit of end times. I mean Gille being the green knight and just taking the thrown was kinda meh, but it was decent. After this ze lady turns out to be Lileath, Gelt for whatever freaking reason trusts manfred who proceeds to meme the forces of order to death cuz "well I wanna die how I WANT" when he wasnt even gonna die if he won, Maliketh turns out to be the REAL pheonix king, and so much other awfulo stuff. Bretonnia def gets it the worst tho
Nurgle's forces randomly showing up to fuck up Kairos Fateweaver was a pretty fun twist.
Though not familiar with this world, W&W makes it more understandable and fun. Cheers from Tennessee
The Green Knight appearing and decapitating Mallobaude, causing his forces to literally disintegrate just as it looked like they were about to snuff Bretonnia out has to be one of the biggest Deus Ex Machinas in all of Warhammer history.
Well, Mallobaude fucked around and found out. He didn't expect to be catching hands from a literal legend
The entire advance of Chaos, expansion of undead, conquest of skaven, etc is all BS Deus ex machina level stuff where the good guys manage to royally fuck up or chaos has an 'endless' pool of manpower. Seems a bit fair that *one* time the forces of order get something in their favor

I had stopped playing a long time ago and only heard of the whole "end times" debacle. I'm really enjoying this series of videos and I can see why so many Fantasy players were upset with Games Workshop. Also, I loved the Green Knight character. I was a bit shocked that he was actually Bretonnia's founder.
While the End Times certainly is.. something, I will never turn down Warhammer Fantasy lore.
I have question: you guys often use gameplay footages of Total War: Attila for cinematic/immersion purposes in your historical videos. Why not use Total War Warhammer for these aswell?

Gods, the Bretonian civil war was a massive free for all as two different chaos factions, Nagesh, wood elves and a whole bunch of mercenaries all joined in on one side or the other or took advantage of it for their own benefit. Leaving Bretonia devastated but still in the game to aid the empire in its hour of deepest need.
We never know what Mallobaude face look like but this depiction really fit his character and lore. Absolute chad.
I would love to see the rise of the Overtyrant Greasus and hear about the battle of the Firemouth

The only good thing of Bretonnia in the End Times was the Aborash and Guilles team up, shame that GW cancelled that book and never gave it any atention
The End times had plenty of that kind of great final moments; Queek vs Thorgrim, Sigmar vs Archaon, Tyrion as Avatar of Kaine... But it had plenty of bad lore as well.

Huh. With the power that Kugath and Kairos have in Total Warhammer, it's very weird to see them just die pretty anticlimatically in some random battle in Bretonnia.
They are demons. Rule nr. 1 in any Warhammer setting ever; Greater Demons exist to get beaten by living, named characters. All the most important Chaos Lords are not demons. Archaon destroyed the World, not Skarbrand and Co.
Daemons don't die like that. They get banished to their world, similar to Nathrezim in Warcraft.

I wonder if Mallobaude was somewhat inspired by Prince Arthas from Warcraft? Like Mallobaude, he was once a noble and idealistic heroic prince who was corrupted by dark magic and became the Lich King. I know Warcraft essentially plagiarized Warhammer Fantasy, but could it be possible that Games Workshop decided to copy some ideas from Blizzard as well?
I think he is clearly Mordred from Arthurian legend. The bastard son of an otherwise noble king rising up to take/destroy the great Knight-Kingdom... It fits very well.
as far as I know and as far as the wiki goes he was inspired by mordred from the Arthus Saga, the Bastard son of King Arthus who tried to rebell against his father and seize the kingdom, the same way Mallobaude tried

Well got to say you did a good job of trying to make sense of a very messy story. The continuity of the End Times gets a bit messed up here. Mousillon is Malabourde's base but when Kairos comes it is normal Bretonnians who defend it and Malabourde and his undead are no where to be found.only to suddenly return marching south after the battle.
The Fey Enchantress' disappearance is tied into both Arkhan and Mannfred's machinations on behalf of Nagash and the meteor strikes are actually due to the Skaven which are explained in other books.

So... how is this the Fall of Bretonnia? I mean, it was restored and yet to be conquered by the new enemy.
If fell, as the defenders left it to fight the last doomed war in the empire. Endless minor forces of beastmen, orks and undead then ate the lands. The End Times kills most places like that.
