Yeah, there's so many good solos! The live version of Stone Dead Forever with Eddie singing has a great version of that solo. I think it was included in one their many compilations.
Since the reception has been good. I want to keep going on these videos because it is sort of like me discovering and also making mods etc. and also talking a lot about Eddie and Motorhead which people seem to enjoy. Yeah, Motorhead fans are fans for life.
I've got a PRS copy guitar two humbbuckers neck and bridge single coil in center "the blue demon" is what I named it,we are the road crew, iron fist, poison, America.. those are the songs I like to play I have fender twin amp Moore overdrive please keep up what you are doing, you'll be surprised who you help...

You GOT IT DOWN perfectly. WE ARE MOTORHEAD AND WE PLAY ROCK N ROLL. RIP LEMMY EDDIE PHIL.
Thanks! Yeah, I would like to get a strat but unfortunately you have to pay upward of $1000 for a good one. I hear you on that.. Fender is like a cult club where they tier their equipment. Quality is only reserved for the first tier at $1000+. Did you do any pickup changes?
@@musingsofrock no need to. These top price guitars Are over priced. Believe me. EVH . Built his out of parts None of which were fender. Jap guitars are well made. I WOULD put a Pacifica j In a strat mex . Level. Better elects better quality. Less than half the price. I know its hard. You want what your heroes Play. But Clapton built his Strat out of junk shop guitars. Gary Moore. Second hand Bettered strat. He Got it cheap . As a foot note cheaper low out put pickups are closer to the sound 70s rock bands had as in those days they were low output. Don't forget in Motorheads Day strats didn't have humbuckers .Eddie would have fitted one in. Keep rocking Bro. Love your channel. Ps the guys in motorhead had no money. When they started. That strat was borrowed from a mate. They were broke.. You own your guitar. 1970s Britain was a shit hole. We were all skint.
Excellent !!! And that's coming from someone who actually saw Motorhead with Fast Eddie Clarke back in the day... And I really like your Peavey, I have the same one...
@@musingsofrock Sorry about that... I just happened to be a student on a field trip with my school in London in 1980 and some local guys we were hanging out with invited us to see Motorhead... I didn't know what the hell I was getting into 😄😄😄 but I had already been to several concerts so I said to myself what the hell let's go see them... 2 hours later my ears were whistling, I was almost completely deaf and I thought I had just survived the end of the world 😄😄🙂😄😄 but this was a total revelation and after that I saw lots of Motorhead concerts until Lemmy's passing...
Love eddie but wurzel and robbo were great to. I'll take motorhead to the grave, love there music for ever. iron fist is one of my favorites wonder why lemmy didnt like it. You played all the good tunes. Love the guitar solo in lost johnny
Yeah, they definitely knew what they were doing compositionally. Another perfect day has a special charm to it all of its own, I agree. And of course Wurzel was great as well. Phil is good as well. The duo of Wurzel and Phil was awesome especially on Rock and Roll and 1916.
@@musingsofrock I know the rudiments of the guitar (chords, scales), but cannot play as well as you. You have inspired me to begin playing again! My guitar is a blue Squire Stratocaster.
^ ^ Thats a great video man..... I think you got it. But the weird thing about Motorhead is that they were kind of "funky" and strong on the off beat like rockabilly and soul music. Apparently fast Eddie played with Curtis Knight????? is this true? I do not think that they can be called a "metal band" I mean have you heard " Another Perfect Day" with Robbo Robertson? thats not metal its just amazing music! Foxy Pagan Love fae Scotland VVxx
I think Lemmy said, "Motorhead has more in common with the Damned and has absolutely nothing whatsoever in common with bands like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest." When you think about it, it is true. Motorhead sounds nothing like classic heavy metal with twin guitars and 10,000 riffs and solos. It's sort of it's own thing. Lemmy just called it rock and roll.
Hate to give this away.. lol.. but glad to help anyone enjoy playing. Go to Songsterr, it's free. That's where I learned a lot of stuff. It has tabs that you can play back. It's mostly accurate! That's where I learned a lot of the stuff that I couldn't figure out myself like Bomber. I agree with you that riff is so rich and super fun to play.
Have to say, and this is constructive criticism, you're playing it all wrong... Part of Eddie's sound has a lot to do with how he played, you are far far away...
I just said his "type of sound" not necessarily to match his playing style exactly. There are a lot of components here like amp, fender guitar, pick ups, style, etc. I am not offended. I would be the first to tell you, I do not play like Eddie. That's not what this is about. This is about the love of Motorhead and trying to come up with a similar sound.
Eddie is also my favorite player. His solo on Stone dead forever is my favorite musical piece ever done.
Yeah, there's so many good solos! The live version of Stone Dead Forever with Eddie singing has a great version of that solo. I think it was included in one their many compilations.
He's underrated! His riffs are sick.
The Golden Years. The best!!
Ohh yeah! the Stone dead forever solo gives me goosebumps. I build a motörcaster fast Eddie Tribute strat btw.
It's outstanding that someone would even do a tutorial on fast eddie thanks man motorhead for life

Okay
Second: Imagine I sound like Eddie Clark

Awesome!!!!Thank you

A stock Strat has a single coil pickup. Fast Eddie played a Strat with a humbucker pickup in Strat. Big difference. You do have humbucker in your axe.
Yeah, it's got a humbucker.

It's a fun song to play for sure but it's been done by others so much already. You really need that bass to get that song going too!
