That's practically what Boston is doing. Their drums carry the whole corps.
@@Ralph981 2 days ago Boston lost to “God’s horn line,” Crown, by one tenth in brass. Boston has already beaten them ( and Blue Devils) in brass this season. BAC has no weak section.
@@luvspaiste Of course.. They're not weak at all. They just play a more difficult book, so their horns have been very dirty, hence the loss to Crown.. and there are several drum features in their show.
That's not it. They don't have enough props. You need at least 200 props to win these days.
In the Eastern Classics yesterday they were 3rd overall
Love this Cavies show this year, and LOVE the fact that they’re winning perc over everyone!!! I wish this show would get rewarded more in GE, but sadly they need to hide behind massive props and have a storyline instead of killer books and crazy bada$$ drill
This year when they announce the winner of the Fred Sanford award and the Cavies win, I hope they get a standing ovation.

This was an exciting segment with loads of forward momentum. What a great
percussion score and hands to match. And to think they performed this wearing
a traditional uniform and head gear. Who would have thought? Ha!

I LOVE the traditional style uniforms! I am not a fan of the spandex and color guard style uniforms many are using these days.
THANK YOU. I don't want to see a bunch of snot-nosed, pimple-faced teenagers. I want the hats that make them look cooler, taller, bigger, and more UNIFORM!
THIS! I agree the old ones looked so much better. Especially the loss of the shakos, they all look much less intimidating

@@TopDrumCorps I dont say what the judges were thinking I'm only saying what can be noticed through the scores they write. I'm not arguing with anyone here just saying what's been seen on score sheets.

It's called the Casey Claw... double stroke roll with the right hand swapping between a backstick and a tap and left hand is normal double stroke roll

I can't tell you how much I appreciate seeing drum corp that still looks and sounds like drum corps. Very sick of the prancing Broadway show versions.

You wish they were moving more..... Nearly all playing is on the move. This is probably the most physically demanding and difficult drill in DCI this year.
@@davyhay1 what exactly do you want me to do here, break down why they aren't in the top 3, or is it the top 5?
When they're moving they are doing a lot. When they stop, they aren't doing a lot of moving. They literally stand in pods and don't do anything. It's not effective and doesn't represent the music. I don't know what to tell you, go watch more winning shows, maybe you'll see the difference?
The members are performing well; but this show is not a winning show. It wasn't designed to be; hence, "I wish they were moving more."
It's not really a hate speech, it's just a wishful design critique, based on an observation. That's all.
@@FTTPRO You’re right, the show was designed to honor the history of the Cavaliers, and not to maximize scoring. And no, when did I ever ask for you to qualify why they are not ranked higher? It felt like you were making a statement as to the physicality of the drill.
@@FTTPRO Wdym moving more? Almost every show this year has less demand in the drill book than in previous years, and they are all moving in pods or blocks. At least with the hats the Cavies look clean (because every other corps looks muddy), and they also have the lines (something noticeably missing in today’s day in age of Drum Corps). You say “go see the difference”, but this show is honestly better than something the top 5 corps are doing, (with the exception of Crown, but even they underwhelmed me this year). It’s sad to see this is the direction the activity is going, and this show is a breath of fresh air that the future of Drum Corps can still look bright.

I like it, the one piece of criticism I have is I personally feel in the beginning it felt too quiet and awkward because it was only Pit, and Perc with sprinkles of Winds, I personally want more Wind action
