Excellent story. I just turned 74 and live in that spinning world you talk about. Jim

Accidents happen! I recently had a bicycle crash and broke my hand while carrying my X100V. Fortunately the camera and the bike fared better than me! Some lessons learnt for sure … safety is so important! PS: I was carrying the camera with a PS Bagworks Rider Strap and the camera was protected by a JJC neoprene case. PS: I like shooting Acros! 📷🙂

Yikes! Hope you heal quickly. I’m a fan of Acros as well. Thanks for the tips.

7:09 I am not laughing at your misfortune, but you do have an amusing way of relating the story. Wonderful images! Thanks for sharing.

One thing to add about being in a safe environment... Even if you think you're in one, don't get complacent. I thought I was on an empty street with no one around, and let my guard down, and then this guy sneaks up behind me and tries to grab my camera. Fortunately he had grabbed it by the cheap plastic kit zoom lens that came with it, and that broke off before anything else (like the strap), so the rest of the camera was ok and all I had to replace was the lens, but it did teach me a lesson. I'd feel safer on a street in New York than in my own little suburb, because there would be no risk of forgetting to keep my guard up. Glad you and the camera are ok, looks like you got some good shots and I love those Fuji film simulations.
