    Oh one more thing! Do you think the Sony A7 S3 will be better than the a7s II? And from what I'm hearing the new Sony a73 is awesome for astrophotography and beating out the a7s II as far as high ISO performance!! I can't wait to get mine!

    While I'm watching your video, we're having server weather moving through the Fort Worth and Dallas area.
    On the other hand, watching you talk about the details that you are explaining and the stars in the back ground, it looks like I could reach out to touch them.

    Hi Alyn, Great vlog! I’m planning on visiting South Stacks soon to have a go a Astro Photography. One question I have is that in a few of your videos you expose for about 20s, does this cause the lighthouse beams to become too large ? The image you shot has a relatively small light beam, so didn’t know if this was the natural speed of the lighthouse or you merged two images. Thanks!

    • @AlynWallace
      @AlynWallace  7 лет назад

      carl johnson hey Carl, yes you're right very well thought. I had to use 5 second exposures for the lighthouse foreground and 20s for the sky :)

      Stephen John thank Stephen. It's been a while since I paid any attention to the entry level market so I'm not sure I'm afraid. My advice would be to save a bit of your budget for a lens though as kit lenses are pretty crap
