Pls read alyn Notif came yesterday , i was studying then I am studying right now too for my weekly goal which ends tonight. CAME HERE JUST TO COMMENT THAT UR VIDEOS ARE SO SPECIAL THAT I WONT EVER WATCH THEM RANDOMLY I WATCH THEM AS IF ITS A FESTIVE. WAITING FOR LATE NIGHT TO COMEBACK AND START WATCHING THIS MASTERPEICE VIDEO. 😍😍
What a fabulous location Alyn. Brilliant shots, especially the panorama. It's comforting to know that not everything goes to plan straight away even for you!
Still struggling with basics, but definitely you give a target to aim for (photographically!). Your descriptions and clear explanations certainly make it all feel attainable
Amazing image with such wonderful detail and colours of both the Milky Way and Stonehenge. I'm showing my age here but when I was a kid and visited Stonehenge, we could walk right inside it (and probably shamefully, on some parts of it).
Lovely reason of the security guard in the panorama! I have been a long time subscriber of yours and now capturing milkyway photos too. Love from Pakistan!
Your videos always inspire me dude. You were the reason I got my camera and started landscape photography (+ astro) I wish I could visit locations like that. Soon enough i'm going to the mountains and do some ap! Stonehenge is such an amazing location. Thank you for this
Night shooting can be frustrating with lights from others you can’t always control. Not to mention equipment issues that are always interesting to deal with. In the end you have achieved a great image to be proud of. Well done Alan. Stay safe 😷🇦🇺
Great video Alyn as usual! Ive been wanting to do Stonehenge as its not that far from me, but I would love to know where you took the shot from and how you got there as for the life of me I cant figure out where to dump the car and shoot from!
it’s great that when you realise you had a hiccup or a big mistake there is always a save! you are a true talent and know how to teach us! how often do we get to see a pro talk about how he saved the shot. you made a beautiful photo ✨✨💕thanks alyn, i’m really getting the hang of it. pretty soon i’ll buy a camera. in the meantime i’ll keep watching.
Its not possible to get all the best pictures in such a short space of time, even though you captured great content on this occasion. If it were easy then astrophotography would be a bit boring. Both you and Richard Tatti have restored my childhood passion for astronomy and in later life, astrophotography. ATB and keep up the good work. Damian.
Stonehenge not too far from me so I’m hoping to get out there this summer. I’m in your neck of the woods this weekend (Pembrokeshire) but as usual with my UK trips, the weather is awful 😂
So beautiful! What an amazing foreground to capture the milkyway. Had my very first opportunity to capture the milkyway a few weeks ago. No idea what I was doing but happy with the images I did get,, but want better. When the moon finally dips away going to have a second go at this myself. Thank you for sharing.
Yet another inspirational video from you. High resolution panoramas are the way forward! I'll be adding an indexing rotator to my ever-increasing astrophotography wish list!
Stunning work, Alyn. It is amazing how the highlights control and the understanding of the consequences of ISO invariance was a game changing for me. I was happy when your video about ISO invariance was released and the how we see the same way about the protection of the highlights. I did understand if you tracked longer and steached shots of the same portion of milky way separately and then made a panorama or if you performed longer exposure of each part once and then just made a panorama.
Hey Alyn Realy liking his photo of stonehenge. I have a question, I just got my star adventurer 2i and I also ise a Sony A7iii. So which cable do you use to controle the shutterspeed from the SAM app?
I was just thinking to photograph the Milky way over Stonehenge myself and didn't consider that I'll need to coup with the distance to the Stonehenge. Great Vlog Thanks!
Thanks for this video. I've been looking at what to use for a mount and the one you use on the star tracker for panos makes complete sense. Much better than a ball head.
Your vlogs are just so fun and informative. The final panorama image is beautifully mystical, (sans security guard)! So rewarding when everything manages to come together.
Top shot Alyn! I have wanted to shoot the Milky Way at Stonehenge for a really really long time! Hopefully will be able to shoot some day soon. Great work mate 👏
Thanks for another excellent video. I enjoy your videos. Just got my MSM tracker. Can you kindly suggest some settings for shooting the Milky Way and doing a star trail. I use the Nikon Z6 with the 14-24 f2.8 S. Thanks. Saw your your presentation on the NightScaper Conference. I enjoyed it.
@Alyn. Greetings from Texas. Skies been rainy for a while lately. Waiting for my son’s graduation ceremony. To take a trip to Arizona by way of New Mexico. To get great shots of the dark desert skies. My plants and I are too waterlogged. Need a good week of clear skies and warmer weather.
Wonderful work again! 85mm lenses are fantastic. Recently tried out my Sigma Art 85 on D850 with a Omegon LX3. Got good result as well even just testing out my gear...
Super presentation as usual. Nice to see the detail that was pulled out despite the light pollution. Just curious how you are working around the rotation of the tracker using the Z-mount and gimbal head when doing a pano. Obviously the tracker is rotating the whole assembly while you are paning. What approach are you taking to keep the head level?
Hi Alyn, great effort and great learning experience. Great result as well. I need an advice. I recently went to Utah and put my newly acquired MSM with Alan Wallace Z bracket. I was using three lenses- Nikon 14-30 MM F4, Nikon 20 mm f 1.18 with my Z7ii and another one was Fuji 8-16 mm 2.8 with my Fuji XT3. Though I got some nice tracked shots, but in panorama shots, it started giving trails after the third shot. So my question is whether I should realign the z bracket after every single shot. To me it look more like weight balance issue. Can you advise on this?
Nice video mate! I used to live very near to Stonehenge for a few years. I'm wanting to get out to a little spot I like near High force to try get a Milky Way shot, if the weather clears up soon. Love the image!
Wonderful work on the panorama 👍🏻. I was starting to think it didn’t work out for you but glad it did. How many other astrophotographers were there that night?
Glad to see again, Great as always AND 3 camera operator just Awesome! Stonehenge on a clear night is great to have. Great that you explained the setups for panos and degree settings to use for your choice of lens mm for stitching overlay. The stepper base works really fast, counting steps!! On a tracker, do you think bracketing 1 or 2 ev would help with light pollution?
So good to see you back in the UK and vlogging again! Amazing end result....you’ve instantly made me want to go and get my star tracker out. ps. We’re still waiting for the photographers guide to the night sky ✨ any update on a release date yet? It feels like it was so long ago when you teased it!
Inspiring!!! Been trying to go to a dark sky location for a while but the pandemic is yet persistent. Hopefully I can go and get a good, meaningful shot which has a story
Lovely shot Alyn and good to have you back, I live not too far from Stonehenge and was thinking about trying there for my 2nd MSM star tracker shoot but the May weather was dreadful. I did wonder about the amount of light pollution there and I only have a 15-35mm f/2.8 and no filter like you have so maybe one for if I get a faster lens.
I have a Move Shoot Move and a Z Platform being delivered today, I can't wait to take it out and get some shots of the Milky Way. I did get one that turned out just OK for a first attempt. I had far too much light pollution though. I'm shooting on an Olympus E-M1 Mk 3 with a 17mm f/1.2 lens.
Thanks for sharing! Happy it all worked out for you in the end :) I do have a question though.. with tracked multi row panoramas like this, how often do you level the re-level the "base" as the tracker changes the angle? Every shot? Row?
Amazing photo! I’m amazed you managed to find a clear sky. I live near Stonehenge and don’t remember seeing a clear sky since early April. I’m hoping to get there at some point this year for a milky way pic too.
I'm not a big fan of the astro modded red hue, however I sure can appreciate it and nice pano. Glad to see you were able to get it. That pano head/ base with a click sure sounds some handy!
This is a masterpiece! Thank you for all the knowledge you shared with us. RIP, Alyn
can we just appreciate then security guards standstill of 30 seconds making alyns shot much better with a human element
That panaroma was outstanding! The milky way looked really really amazing! That sony 85mm is shining!🤯
Nice To Know Milkyway Season Is Back!! Looking Forward to shoot Some Nebula and Clusters!!
Great Images man, You always Inspire me...
Great to see you back vlogging, Alyn. The end image is absolutely stunning. Thanks for sharing with us all. 👍😎

It has gotten to the stage where I just like the videos before I’ve even watched them! Stunning image!
glad that you are back and thank you for going into detail on how you setup your gear for the shots.
Fabulous. Again Alyn, you are the best and I appreciate you so so much!
Lets gooooo, so happy for another Astro Vlog, thanks Alyn!
What a fabulous location Alyn. Brilliant shots, especially the panorama. It's comforting to know that not everything goes to plan straight away even for you!

Amazing image with such wonderful detail and colours of both the Milky Way and Stonehenge. I'm showing my age here but when I was a kid and visited Stonehenge, we could walk right inside it (and probably shamefully, on some parts of it).
I visited it twice but not at night. It was back in 1982, 1983 and it was restricted then. I still got some great daylight pictures.
Lovely reason of the security guard in the panorama! I have been a long time subscriber of yours and now capturing milkyway photos too. Love from Pakistan!
😍
THis is on my bucket list of shots as well! HOpefully I can make it out there this season. THanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for the Vlog, I love you and your content. Thank you Alyn.

Ooouuuuuh, that hurt when you said you had little overlap. I've been burnt like that in the past, happy to see you were able to use the data anyway.
Awesome video, Alyn! That shot is beautiful!!! Love the new hair cut too!
Stunning capture Alyn! great to have you back here!
Thanks a lot Alison, hope you're well!
Good to see you back Alyn. Awesome work as always. Cheers

Inspiring. So glad you ‘rescued’ your shot. Gorgeous! Now do Avebury...
Still the best intro on RUclips 💪

Great vlog, fantastic image, lets hope we get some good weather in June
Hey, thank you for your video. Awesome picture btw. How do you set the camera/lens to a correct nodal point? How do you manage parallactic errors?
Great stuff Alyn. And happy new haircut
Lovely shot Alyn and good to have you back, I live not too far from Stonehenge and was thinking about trying there for my 2nd MSM star tracker shoot but the May weather was dreadful. Beauty of pictures alyn
Great show you do ,
Need to name that security guard, 🤣 what a great vlog and image, cheers Alyn.
Guardian of the Galaxy :P
@@AlynWallace That’ll do nicely.. haha
Stunning capture
😂😂😂 love that 85mm image and the security guard story!
Beautiful Alyn, thank you
That close in Stonehenge shot was really special, more intimate than the full panorama… one for next year’s calendar?
Good work!! I’ve had a 50mm prime for a while now just waiting to be used for some Astro pano’s.

Absolutely awesome 👌🏼👌🏼💪🏽💪🏽
Stunning work as always Alyn
I really love your creations! It really inspired me to do astrophotography!!! 🙏😁
i’m going to bed now 🙏🏼thanks professor Wallace see you in the morning ✨
Amazing photo!
I’m amazed you managed to find a clear sky. I live near Stonehenge and don’t remember seeing a clear sky since early April.
I’m hoping to get there at some point this year for a milky way pic too.
Yeah it was the only clear night during the last New Moon period!
Why is that? Clouds or pollution?
love the "new" view where you talk about the mounts. and nice haircut ;-)
Alyn ur pure genius huge fan .....clear skies mate
I'm not a big fan of the astro modded red hue, however I sure can appreciate it and nice pano. Glad to see you were able to get it. That pano head/ base with a click sure sounds some handy!
