How many ltrs of paint did this take, primer, colour etc.
man this was years ago lo
Lack!?
Cool Video, but you really could have shown us the Final Result, the whole Bike i mean :) Greetz
thanks man the issue is sometimes i dont get to see the finished article myself but im sure its on the last part of this video series but i could be wrong lol
hey, tony. regarding the 2k clearcoat - how long should I wait the clear to cure before wetsanding or just simply scuffing up to make additional coats? I am air drying my projects at room temperature. the TDS says 12h for operating hardness and 5 days for final hardness. is then 12h enough to sand and recoat? tnx!
+seasonedtoker I'd say if you were
Going to do a flow coat on it then give it atleast 24 hours to cure minimum if no heat is applied to bake out
Greetings from Ukraine, Tony) is difficult to understand English, but I translate as I can) please tell me why you used the nozzle 1.2 for lacquer? I recently bought myself a W-400 LV2 1.4 for lacquer and acrylic. very happy, incredible spray gun. settings I use such: less by one turn from full feed and less by one turn from the full fan. pressure 2 atm. can you advise the settings of this gun?
thanks for the video and like)
hi its just what the gun came as in 1.2 but it does a cracking job, ive got a w400 and use a 1.3 in that
Varnishing is not shown !?
try part 2
can thinners change the colour
No
For me I never touched the volume and the camera angles let me see everything you were doing as if I was there, music volume was fine also..Great job as usual Tony..thanks....
thanks wendall the feedback is very much appreciated
👍🏽👍🏽
What kind of lights are you using and how did you hang them up? And good job of the paint job.!
+viesna nhet we used daylight led floodlights and mounted them with industrial Velcro to the tubes , Thankyou was a nice job to paint this one real nice colour
i use a ani 150 as well they are an awesome gun, now you've lived with the inflatable spraybooth for a bit hows it stacking up looking into something similar for myself.
+stuboy999 absolutely love it , saves space easy to clean and maintain ect and works brilliantly
Could you possibly pass details over?i wouldn't mind speaking to you about doing mine as well.
hi mark if you follow the link to our linked facebook page on the channels main page, i can speak to you through there about any inquiries
Audio levels are much better now. I listen at about the same level as other people I subscribe to. The intro is always a problem between channels because it's different from channel to channel and you have to adjust it for a first few seconds. But you have it pretty much ok with respect to the rest of the video. Good work on the bike. I can imagine it was very difficult to get into all the tight spots while avoiding runs.If you're looking for suggestions. I'm wondering how to paint the nose and tail of a '77 Corvette. They are some sort of flexible plastic and I understand you have to put something in the paint (and I guess the primer) to keep the paint flexible. Some advice would be appreciated. Thanks
flexible additive yes thats something we could look into video wise
Thanks. I look forward to it.
intro is too long
Good job man
thanks fella
Hi Tony, great colour , what's the colour code and which lacquer did you use
hi sorry theres no code for it but if you search on ebay for hulk green you will see it on there , i used the quartz liquid glass on this job that part of the video will be live tonight
Super vid..nice sound and excellent work..and keep going like this..
thanks and thanks for watching
Tony which gun would you recommend to lay flat finish clear coat for 2:1 thick clear coat.
+Slackerz Sincity if it's good quality clearcoat then pretty much any good gun , the sata 5000rp , the devilbiss got prolite or the iwata w400 would all lay you a beautiful coat of clear but obviously it also depends on your budget
Thanks, I'm having trouble laying it down, versus the 4:1 clear coat. Does different clear coat change the color? I have the same batch of color but used a different clear coat and it brightens up the red.
some clears if you put them in a clear poly cup are slighlty yellow compared to others that look crystal clear , usually it only causes problems on lighter colours though such as whites where even just where the clear has been blended can look off but yes clears can be a factor as only some are truly clear
great job
thanks Derek
nice job Tony I see you bought ANI R150 😉
+Piotr Laczynski thanks and he sive hadnit for a long time now but spends a lot of time on the gun rack collecting dust lol the work I do I don't really use mini guns a lot but am planning on doing some videos soon on spot repairs n smart repairs so it's time to dust it and others off
Another fantastic video and good quality
+C.V. Thanks for the feedback
