M55 here. I don't think I could clear 2:40 for the 800 right now. Yikes! I echo the sentiments of some of the commenters below in that we'd love to see more masters coverage. I get that it wouldn't be a large proportion of your videos, but a few sprinkled throughout the year would be greatly appreciated. This was a fun watch. Thanks!

Back when he was running 1:45, I was running 24 seconds behind that. Now, 40 years later, I'm still 24 sec behind (and hanging on for dear life). Great workout and interview. Mad jealous of the facility and awesome training partners!

Great to see this. Always a challenge to know if what senior elites do is transferable to masters and other good standard runners. Interesting to note how close his 1:45.66 PB age 26 is on age graded (95.66%) to the 2:15.30 aged 65 (96.99%). So the recent run only just a little "better" on that scale.

Watching Paul here I am massively inspired. Thanks to all involved.
I'm 62 and got it to 2.36 for 800 at my very best effort in the spring. On a load of different interval options and liking them but so far have no idea how I will find an extra 6 secs to reach PB goal of 2.30.Maybe the carbon plated spikes will help!
