uggh, I now know I have a bad turbo. I have fixed a whole bunch of things, the latest item fuel pump with cam follower. The car runs great but going up hill starts to smoke and have clicking noises. It kindof continues running or tries to recuperate afterwards but it smokes when the car is being pushed.
Valve stem seals? Oil pump failure/ stuck oil filter bypass/ low oil

I always see bad turbo videos but could you make a video how a good turbo would function and sound? I am about to buy a seat leon 2.0 tsfi fr from 2008 and i have no experience with turbo cars or the seat leon to begin with! Cheers.

hi i have lack of power and sometimes silver/blue smoke but no error code or engine light can be it a turbo fail?
I’m getting a spooling whistling noise no loss of preference tho?
Same my turbo sounds like it’s spooling and it’s not screaming, but it def doesn’t sound like that normally
I got a ambulance sound and when I press pedal down hard I hear whistling noise before I feel accelerator.
So,.if you only have p0299. And.no.other sympstoms. Its mosy likely safe?
Change the Diverter Valve.

@@Volvo_guy ended up being a brand new Carden that couldn't take the amount of power and broke into pieces in the boot
@renasdupont2806 a clip came off the intake and I started misfiring bc of a ignition coil
