In the clone wars 2008 show they mostly focused on the ground battles which to me was slightly disappointing. I like seeing the space battles.

I would say ground branch. I always loved ground warfare. There's a sense of satisfaction when you defeat a large army with your handful of troops.

In the US Army, a troop and a company are the same thing, a squadron and a battalion are the same thing, as is a regiment and a brigade
The difference is that troops and squadrons are listed as cavalry units
When I served in the Army, for two years I was assigned to the Supply & Transportation Troop, Combat Support Squadron of the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment located at Downs Barracks, Fulda West Germany long before the country reunited and before the entire unit relocated to Fort Irwin, California

Just three directions: the non-clone groups that you briefly mentioned earlier, the CIS (both droids & non-droids, parodying what I first typed), and the the two following trilogies & other time periods (basically these last two are about WHEN, which makes it count as one; perfect three points!)…
I gotta say I love these videos and they teach me so much about military stuff like rank and tactics. They even help me with my own works, like deciding what rank to make Vaughn in a Battle set before the Siege of Mandalore fanfiction, thus before he was promoted to Captain to replace Rex who was promoted to Commander.
I'm not sure if the Republic Military rank structure was similar to real world militaries, but when talking about chain of command, a Captain in ground based branches (Army, Marines) is a lower level officer while in sea/air based branches (Navy, Air Force) a Captain is a pretty high level officer.

I think it might be nice to be a clone in the Republic Navy, especially if you get assigned to somewhere in the deep Republic where the war never really reaches. You just get to make sure everything is running okay and maybe make friends with some non-clone officers

how in the world did the Republic Intelligence work? like "yes I am to be trusted on this side of the battle lines. please ignore my face being just like almost every enemy soldier's" maybe once or twice they could use the deserter/traitor cover story but seems like something they would catch onto real fast
How effective would an army of force sensitives be? Would it even be possible to clone FS people like that on that scale? Would they follow Orders like the clone troops?
I think you can clone people with Force Sensitivity, but actually getting that Force Sensitivity in the clone is the hard part. Even Palpatine had trouble with it in both Disney and Legends

If I had a choice, it would probably be special forces. Liking the idea of going behind enemy lines and cause as damage as possible with the intention of turning the tide. Also, they badass af.

Woulda thought the fighters corps and Navy being the MOST usually outgunned and heavily outnumbered woulda been the worst assignments and also the most dangerous save for a few the Spec Ops or Intel units depending on where, role and which units. With Commandos and Spec Forces having easiest times usually often away from the most brutal and heaviest fighting.
For me, the navy and the starfighter core is the worst as the separatists usually had a better naval advantage over the republic as the venator does not have enough fire-power, which leads to an advantage over the starfighter core as the venators are needed for the starfighters and the starfighters being outnumbered and outgunned, would mean that the venators would not get the protection they needed.
Anywhere space would be a hell hole for the clones and personally the G.A.R. would be the best, due to the majority of the droids being B1s and beacause the clones are better trained and they are able to adapt to their situation better.
I wonder if Sifo-Dyas would have chosen Jango Fett as a clone template. In fact, how did he want to style the Republic military?
