Because I can't resist turning classics into miniatures, here's another mini dessert idea! I made cherry, apple and blackberry pies. You can use store bought crust and pie fillings or make your own from scratch.

Miniature Pies
Pie Crust and filling recipes: www.lindsayannb...
Assemble
Roll out your pie crust on lightly floured surface. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Spray cupcake/muffin pan (standard or mini) with non-stick spray. Use a cookie cutter or the mouth of a glass/mug to cut circles of pie crust dough (about 3"circles for mini cupcake/muffin pans and 4" circles for standard cupcake/muffin pans). Press pie crust circles into each well of your cupcake/muffin pan. Beat an egg and a tablespoon of water together to form an egg wash and brush it on the bottom and sides of the pie crusts to prevent them from getting soggy once baked; set aside.
Spoon prepared pie filling into each well, almost up to the top. Top your filling with another layer of pie crust, a lattice top, or leave them open faced (if covered make sure there is a hole or slit in the top for the pie to vent during baking). Brush egg wash over the tops of the crust.
Bake pies about 10-12 minutes for mini cupcake/muffin pans for and about 25-30 minutes for standard cupcake/muffin pans, until the edges start turning golden brown. Let cool.

I make these when I want to impress people and everyone loses their minds over the mini pies! Great recipe. I use pillsbury pie crust and store bought apple pie filling. I egg wash the inside of the bottom crusts and drizzle a LITTLE caramel topping in the bottom. I chop the apple filling into smaller chunks on a cutting board, fill the little pie bottoms and cover with mini lattice crusts. And then egg wash the tops and cook for like 16 minutes check the status for the golden brown tops and usually do 3 or 4 more minutes. I found the first time that I made them that 25-30 minutes burned the edges so...keep an eye on them! Hope this helps if anyone wants to make bomb mini caramel apple pies 😁
Thank you for this information.
Hmm... Something tells me you like the colour pink...
+Erin McKelvey ;)
I'm sure you must be told this all the time...but that is the cutest kitchen...I just love it...and I am making these for a christmas party that I'm going to and we are asked to bring a treat...I was thinking of making these and put a bow in the middle made from the pastry...what do you think?
Thank you! What a great idea!!! Let me know how it goes!
Delicious! So easy to put together & they're super cute! I love that you can do a variety of fillings! Just want to give you a heads up. It says on here to use eggwash on the bottom/sides of the crust, but on your actual website, it's not mentioned in the directions.
Hi, Lindsay Ann. Your little pies look so cute and adorable, just like you. What do you love about little pies? Have a good day, Lindsay Ann.
Nice to see health and hygiene laws followed, licking fingers and carrying on???
Hey Lindsay Ann! I think you are literally awesome and that you do an amazing job at baking! You were so good on Cupcake Wars, I started my small baking business because of you! I love you so much. Plus, I learned to do my signature swirl from you. Thanks for sharing your amazing ideas!
Sydney Hand Thanks for such a lovely comment! So happy to help. Good luck with your business!
You are my inspiration to bake 😘
need to show how to pop them out of the muffin pan,
+sparrow Helm You can use a knife, by sliding it down the side of the cup and underneath the crust to help push them up so you can grab them with your hands to lift them out.
Lindsay Ann Bakes ....must have been tricky as the reason you didn't show de-panning...love the YTubers that show the challenges as well...it helps us learn.
Licking those fingers. This is why I don't eat other people food. Sorry
Hi lindsy ann
I inspire you alot
Please do a favour for me
Its my sisters birthday next month and I want to give her a gift which I can make
So please share a video
I love the set you made. You did have a quick shot in the beginning of ur finished pies but I wish you had a close up at the end. This is something anyone can do. Since this is geared to non bakers, it would be helpful if you actually showed a real beginner the ready made products you bought. And how you need to seal the edges on the 2 crust pies as I can see you did in your opening shot of the finished product. This is such a great idea for a new cook who wants something homemade to bring to a dinner. I love to share your videos when someone asks me for long distance help. Thanks.
teresa formica Awe thanks so much, I'm so glad you like the video!!! :D

New sub!! I just adore everything about you and your videos. Where did you get the pink silicone muffin thing lol?
OMG I love you so much!!!!! U are my inspiration 😍😍😍😍
So glad to have you Cherry Berry :) Happy Baking!!!
Thanks Lindsay! I made these tonight with some Lidl premade pie crusts and a raspberry filling. They're in the oven now looking great. We'll see how my BF likes them! :)
Hannah Truesdale Woo hoo, so glad you love the vid!! Be sure to let me know how it goes! :D
While it is easier to use pre made ingredients, they are truly unhealthy for us. :(
What temperature do you cook them on and how do you get them out without a mess?
Hey! This video was great ! I loved it, you are so inspiring. When I get older I want to be a baker now. Now I'm subscribed and ilysm and thanks
Chloe Kremer Thanks for stopping by! So happy to be able to inspire you to bake :)
She all looks like rossiana pansino even her outro thing
How do you take them out?
try using two knives on opposite sides or if the pie has a "lid" (I don't know the name lol) and it's cooled, just put your hand on it and flip the tin over.
+Gabifilipino Once they are cool, they should pop right out if you give them a little twist or use a knife along the side. Just be sure to spray the pan with non-stick spray before putting in the crust. Let me know how it goes! :D
+Lindsay Ann Bakes i used butter around the tin
Amazing.. my mom has a small electric oven like yours!
Gonna.use it now!
And I even love the aprains u wear
What size is the barking pan
Helen Grant I have used both mini and standard sized cupcake pans. Be sure to let me know how it goes! :D
Oh my goodness you are my inspiration I love you so much
Ewww ascooo ascoooo de video ;)
This makes me cringe bc she’s just stuffing the dough in there and if I made this it would take me like 5 minutes trying to get them in perfectly lol
Love the apron!!!!! So cute!! Where can I get one???
Thank you! This cherry one is by @JessieSteele
What's the temperature ?
375
Is that farenheit or degrees centigrade?
Why didn't you just mix the rest of the unbaked crust together then flatten it
What season of cupcake wars were you on
+Napoleon Contreras I won the "Seaworld Birthday Bash" season 1 episode 2 and was also on Battle of the Champions "Rose Parade" Season 2 Episode 6. Check it out on my blog: www.lindsayannbakes.com/2011/01/food-network-cupcake-wars-season-1.html
If u put down an upside down saucer and cover it with a piece of parchment paper then get it cold unless you want them on right away make your lattes topping on the saucer made then put it on top your pie top you don’t get all sticky top dough if you need to adjust like what happened to you just alittle tip
I can anticipate that taking them out could be disastrous. I am wondering if it makes more sense to bake the shells, then take them out carefully, place them on a baking sheet, fill, and bake.
Mary Bialoglow I've never had a problem taking them out of the pan. You can slide a thin spatula or knife against the side, to pop them out easily. Be sure to let me know how it goes! :D
These come completely out after baked and partially cooled. I ran a butter knife around the edges when I first took them out. Plus her tip about putting the egg wash on inside before filling really helps.
Your pink theme is too cute :) Thank you for this cool idea
Thanks so much!! :D Let me know if you give them a try!
Those little pies are so cute. I will certainly be making them! Thank you so much!

Sienna Doll yes
How do you make the crust THANKS!😀
3 cups flour
1 cup veg shortening
1 tsp salt
1 cup COLD water
Mix flour, salt, and veg shortening with a fork til crumbly
Slowly add water, mix with a fork, just til it sticks together, you may not need all the water
Put dough in fridge for abt an hour to make it easier to work with.
Did you just lick your fingers and touch the food after
I am making them just for myself :)
Yes she did but I am sure that she will never do it again! LOL! I use a different spoon everytime that I taste, don't you? I do like her show very much. Just a little slip...
Geez, if she's making them just for herself/family, who cares? LOL! I'm making these today with our fresh berries from the garden!
If you come to my house...know..I have licked my fingers and moved on!! When the fam says this is good!....I tell em I put my toes in it!!!
I don't really like how she looks like a house wife from the 1950s and acts like it too.
Munira Alemayehu
