perhaps lessen your flour or increase your eggs and butter? Or switch from lard to butter. In my experience butter not only tasted better, but it's easier to work with 😊

This channel actually usually click baits. We call these types of channels “content farms”. Content farms don’t make quality products. They just make it for money and views. Offscreen they most likely switch the product out with another product that IS quality. Or they use heavy editing.

I admire the imagination, patience and skill, and find the use of scissors to cut the excess pastry unusual. More than one way to skin a cat!

The dough is perfectly pliable and lifts off easily.
Good point. I never understand why cookie, pie, and dough makers, always do their work on countertops and then pick up their dough - that's courting disaster and deformity, LOL. What I do to save time and later clean up, is cut and roll the pie dough on waxed paper I've taped down or rolled out onto my COLD plastic mat - the advantage is that when you're done rolling, or cutting shapes, you lift the entire piece of wax paper or mat, up in one piece, and....very carefully, holding the dough or pie top at a 30 degree angle, with both hands, and starting from one EDGE, I gently kind of roll off the dough, gradually guiding it across the surface of the pie, and NOT allowing it to PLOP or fall down onto the pie from the "top" down in a big heap. Do this 3 x and you're a pro. As for cookies, I ALWAYS use parchment paper taped down onto the cookie tray first. I tape the edges and then roll the cookie dough right onto the paper. I cut out all the shapes and then remove the extra dough. Perfectly shaped babies. One thing: for this to work, you need either a flat, lip less cookie pan, or you need a roller without handles that is at least an inch shorter in length than the cookie pan with a lip. Know what? Baking is almost all math. Cooking, is math + innovation - chef's own tastes and inspiration. ANYONE can become an excellent baker if you follow the steps EXACTLY - just like doing math. But in either case, every single fancy schmancy detailing you see is not a trick - it's having cool TOOLS and just knowing how to use them. It's the mechanics - and that's what's perfectly demonstrated here.

Rings wd be delish baked as is, with cinnamon & brown sugar sprinkled on, break em' apart and eat with a no fat cream cheeze dip, thinned with a little milk, a touch of lemon and brown sugar cinnamon mixed in - the ring shapes are cool. Could also use food dye to make different colored dough rings, bake, and use them as an edible educational tool - "ID the color rings" for kids. LOVE YOUR IDEAS AND CHANNEL! What did you use to make the dough not stick to the board
Dylan Studley These unrollable ready ones from Pillsbury really dont stick till they start to warm up. Wash your hands in cold water to deal with them (dry hands/surfaces) and take it only when you are ready to start messing with it. Id say you have 3-5 mins of play time with it before itll be too cold. You could also do the pattern on wax paper. Then before using the design, put it back in the fridge, THEN to it to your pie safely. :)
either a cold surface or flour the surface liberally. If your room and counter are cold enough you should be fine especially with the premade boxed crust because it has a layer of flour to keep it from sticking to itself but if you are worried or using a homemade crust then use flour and for extra protection a layer of wax or parchment paper so that it can't stick to the counter.
