Maybe for 2025 of the offer returns. And rose and crown, space 220 lounge, Raglan road and Hollywood brown derby. First time going to these. Also Homecomin for a 4th time. Our favourite.

Hi we are confused by the difference between Disney dining plan and the Disney dining credits? If we book with Virgin to go in June 2024 to the contemporary we would get $2100 for our room & $200 gift card (I think that’s right!). Does the value of any meals snacks just come off that overall balance? Just getting confused by people talking about meal credits? Thanks
Awww this is so lovely of you to say! Thank you so much! I am so excited whenever the new deals come out and working out just how and where to spend my free money 🤣🤣
Hey Sophie …. This has made it more real how much we are going to spend as a family of four with no dining credits 😮…. How much is a quick serve without sides/starters and pudding - just the main thing and a drink maybe? I’d love any more videos about budgeting for food etc. I don’t think I’m saving enough for that eeek
Hi Nat! On average a quick service meal with a drink would cost around $18-20 (including tax). For a meal on it's own it is around $12 - $17 depending on where you eat and drinks cost around $4.50 each. If you are happy with a cup of free water that you can get at quick service locations that can help bring down costs significantly! You may want to take one of the small bottles of squash you can buy in supermarkets now that you can put in your bag to add flavour to make it more interesting too! If you can bring breakfast / snacks with you that can also help (if you can bring them from the UK even better as food in supermarkets is more expensive in the US). I would definitely take a look at the Disney World website and if you know which restaurants you might fancy they do have all the prices on there (minus the tax) so that can help get a rough cost! www.disneyworld.co.uk/dining/
@@MostMagicalGuides thanks for getting back to me! Great idea about the squash and also, definitely will plan to take stuff from the UK. We will have a kitchen or fridge sometimes while away as well so, maybe we can sometimes eat in. Xox
2 weeks, 2 adults next September staying at CBR. So excited. Yay. Booking can be so confusing especially for newbies so I am sure your breakdown will be really helpful😀
Hi, thanks for this super useful video! I've just paid off my DisneyWorld holiday and cannot wait to experience the magic again! Can I ask, as there are 3 of us sharing our credit, we'll obviously be using your screenshot top tip!! However, how do you know how much balance is remaining? Particularly as there are times in the parks where we do split and go solo!
Hi! Thank you so much! It is so exciting you have just paid off your trip as it means it is going to be time to travel soon! If I remember correctly when I had the dining credit for my last trip you could see the remaining balance on your receipt. The cast members when you are paying will also be able to tell you!
Hi! I'm wondering if buses are usually so crowded to go and return to your hotel from the parks? I mean, it is posible that we can't get on a bus and we have to wait for the next one because of the amount of people waiting? Or it's a good service and the periodicity in which the buses came is good enough? Thanks for the answer and I must say that I really love your vlogs, they are always really helpful about all the vegan options!! :)
Heya! I usually hire a car in Orlando so I am not an expert on the buses but I know that at the bus stops they have a board with real time waits for the next buses. The official guideline is buses run every 20 minutes, but sometimes you will notice they are more frequent than this. The general rule of thumb is to give 1 hour to take the bus (this includes waiting for it, loading the bus, travelling to your destination and unloading). It is advised to arrive early and give yourself extra time at busy times as you sometimes may need to wait for the next bus as they sometimes do fill up. The My Disney Experience app now also has bus arrival times in it which is so helpful! For things like rope dropping the parks (or if you have any reservations for dining or experiences), it is advisable to get there a bit earlier as many people start waiting for the buses before they start running (which is usually 45 minutes - 1 hour before the parks open). One of the things I like to do is after the Magic Kingdom fireworks is to hang around, look in some shops and get the castle shots with few people in them! This gives a chance for the crowds to go and it is much nicer to be in Magic Kingdom rather than standing at the bus stop. And then once you leave the buses should be a bit quieter!
They are very easy and efficient. Although we only have experience with Coronado springs. In 3 trips, we have only experienced 1 full bus, where we had to wait for the next one. This was returning from the magic kingdom after mickeys not so scary Halloween party.
Thank you Sophie for your helpful video. Not booking for WDW yet as we have just booked our first Disney Cruise for summer 2024! But maybe 2025? It would be a bucket list trip for us so need to do lots of forward planning. Who knows what offer they will have then, or even if they bring back the dining plan. Theoretically I would spend the credits on our table service meals and then cash for others. Makes it easier to track who has what.
It is so exciting you are going on a Disney cruise next year! 🥳 I love the planning part and I think it is so fun looking up all the things you would like to do or try!
That was SUCH a good video. So much information. I’ve got my first solo trip staying on Disney property booked next September so I found this really helpful 😊 I’ve always stayed off property so I have zero experience with Dining credits so thank you 🥰
Yes to solo trips! It is so exciting to have a countdown! The dining credits can be such a big help - particularly when solo! It is great that so many restaurants take part so there is soooooo much good food to choose from!
This was very helpful once again. The flight in August compared to October are a difference of over £1000! It really doesn’t give much advantage unless we can take our kids out of school.
@@MostMagicalGuides it would usually bother us, but 2025 is our youngest sons exam year!! Probably best not taking him out of school. Thanks again for the break down.
We have booked a package with TUI, so have been told we are getting the $1400 dining credit and $400 gift card, as we booked through TUI do we still have to ring Disney 8 days before to confirm our flights?
Hi! I know that if you booked the package directly with Disney those were the rules. I shouldn't imagine you need to with Tui as they are handling the package but it is good to double check with them! (or read through your terms and conditions with your booking confirmation). I hope you have an amazing trip!
You can definitely book a package with British Airways and as long as you book a Disney hotel and Disney tickets as part of the package with the flights you would get the dining credits!
@@niamh1852 you have to purchase the tickets at the time of booking to get the free dining credits offer. So when you are booking the hotel and flights with BA they will have the option to add tickets and if you do this then you will get the offer!
Hi Sophie! I’ve booked for September next year with my boyfriend and we are getting $1400 in credit but have booked the dining plan also. I was under the impression this can be used on merchandise in the shops too is that correct? And also do you know how to actually claim this, is the credit on a card or on the app? ❤️ xxx
How exciting you have a trip booked! I love having a countdown! (I am going September next year too!) Yes! Disney have made it so the dining credits can be used on merchandise too so if you have a dining plan you can use the dining credits for merch or snacks, drinks etc! I also made a note of the number in my phone because if you want to mobile order anything you can use the gift card and just copy and paste the details! For the $200 merchandise gift card you collect that from World of Disney in Disney Springs.
