They definitely need to add landscaping but I think they have a good collection of rides especially for a park just starting out. While the intamin isn’t the best marquee ride out there, it looks like an awesome attraction. I think they have enough to draw people from far away. Look at me, I’ll be heading there next month and I’m very excited to go! Give them time and they will continue to improve! One thing they really need to fix though is their marketing.
As someone who’s from the East Coast, that did go to Hard Rock Park as a kid it’s first season, I am praying this doesn’t become that. They need two roller coasters and about a half dozen other rides. The flat rides to make sure Iowans go to the park in between the years of the coasters. While the RMC idea makes sense based on the marketing, I think a family invert would be great here also. But whatever they do, I hope it starts to attract not just visitors from outside Iowa, but makes the citizens nearby who buy a season pass and go multiple times. It’s the locals that need to support the park even more than the visitors.
I’ve been very intrigued with lost island!!! I am currently planning a trip mostly for the dark ride. I love new theme park chains that are not afraid to show their ambition
@@Kingdakev will you make a general vlog? I think it would be nice to have just a regular vlog having fun instead of stressing to get a good shot. Whatever you choose man, make sure it makes you happy
@codehark hahaha so about that. I’ve actually been testing the waters with that lately. I’m sure when I go there I’ll be getting great shots but also doing vlog style videos. Lots of content will come from that park
I would love to see both. I think and RMC wild moose would be cool, but a vekoma family boomerang would look awesome over the water. The raptor would also be a great fit for the park. Great video, you earned a subscriber
I agree but thinking about the longevity of the situation, I just don’t know if that would put them in a great financial situation later on since they’re already in some debt.
I would be so happy with an RMC Wild Moose. Like it would actually be the perfect family coaster and I could see it being ready for a late season opening.
Honestly I can see it being built very quickly so it may open on time if they started construction on it soon. It’s a very small coaster so it should just fly up
@@Kingdakev a season pass is $375 and a day ticket is $48. And what do you get for that? A bunch of recycled rides. Cedar point charges $49 a day or $110 for a season pass. Lost island has to slash its prices to get the guests coming in as it’s a local park and no locals are going to spend nearly FOUR HUNDRED on a season pass to try a few used rides on a field.
@pollutingpenguin2146 that is for the most expensive level of pass. That includes both the theme and water park, tons of discounts including in park food and bev discounts, discounted day ticket once per day, free lockers, free drinks all season long and more. The standard just theme park pass is only 200. Which you still get perks that cedar point would never give you. If you want to do the full season at cedar point and water park you’re looking at a price of 145, but you’re going to be paying a lot more in other aspects like food. While the coasters may be used. There are a ton of flats at the park and the theming is far better than what you will see at cedar point. Sometimes you pay for the experience, not quantity.
They need to add rides and landscaping. There is not enough volume to make anyone from far away make the journey to visit. They need a marquee ride.

Very much agree!

Same! I’m going this June and I’m so excited for it!

Love the boomerang idea! Another great choice for the park! And thank you so much! :)
the park needs the guests, 2 top shelf coasters would really help that, especially in the same year

This park needs landscaping more than it needs rides.
I’ll agree that it needs trees and shade but they due need additional rides
I agree with you on them not adding them for 2024 but who knows
Something will be added in 2024, weeks just don’t know what :)
@@Kingdakev that is what I mean but I don’t see them adding both
@coasterfair2602 yea for sure. What a shock if they did though lol
@@Kingdakev lol 😂 that would be interesting if they didn’t
@@Kingdakev we can dream if they could add both lol 😂
They charge a premium price for a subpar product
Please explain how this is a sub par product. The park only charges 48 dollars which is also far from a premium price.
