I absolutely love how you advise guardians to learn buildcrafting. Solo running helps a lot to see how aspects and fragments work in synergy with armor mods. Thanks for this run!
@@Chablo91 I looked up Final Shape sales and returns are only 6%. Social media is filled with sociopaths who act like 2 yr Olds who break their own toys then cry. Gotta stop feeding these trolls as they make up half the brand bashers. I know you and I want Bungie to give new lights a more robust experience. Should the new light experience include tutorials? Perhaps. When I inspect their armor prior to taking them into a raid I would say 100% need a tutorial yet, when I look the next time we sherpa some of them still don't get it. Some have very poor reading comprehension, too. Granny is patient.
I remember trying to get my solo flawless on this dungeon after it came out and I kept getting error coded(2 times on the final boss even)which led to having to restart multiple times which then led to a ton of fatigue which led to a wipe at the final boss, I was trying to do it on hunter but just ran out of patience and did it on solar titan completely braindead, I'd definitely say its hardest on hunter because they have next to no survivability during dps on final boss, the best you can have is a single healing grenade whereas warlocks have rifts/Well and titan has Lorely/sunspots as well as Bubble with Helm of Saint-14. Not being able to dps freely really sucks because it just means you'll be doing less damage and even more phases which in the final boss becomes completely mind-numbing and increases chance of death.
I don't see anyone else recognize glaives for being as powerful and versatile solo tools as they are. They're incredible with karnsteins and titan builds. The demo/close to melee judgement of kelgorath is one of the essential solo player weapons imo.
Other than calling destiny 2 players dumb and lazy, it was a great video! Haha just kidding. Great job as usual and giving us an alternative strat for this dungeon!
You have to be willing to die and lose at this game. Play for fun and not worry about the loot. Just see how far you can get with certain builds and weapons. People are so reward driven they don’t try and enjoy the journey anymore.
This build is incredible. GotD is the last dungeon I have left to solo flawless, and your guides are priceless. When the next dungeon drops, your channel is def my first stop. GG's Chab.
This may sound like a dumb question, but: how do you know how much sword charge you have? Is it the bar filling up over the melee icon? I agree that Void Titan needs a buff though. I only play Void in PVP, and I don't even really enjoy it there. Overshields are nothing compared to Banner of War or Restoration from Hammers. It has no killing power compared to Arc (or the other two, honestly). I can't even remember the last time I saw a void Titan in the wild in PVE.
Sad how bubble needs a buff but is most likely getting nerfed. Insane how underwhelming titan is in general for pve because its completely balanced around pvp. The supers especially.. tcrash and hammer of sol cooldowns are way too high for the mid af damage they do. Titans really needed banner of war to stay relevant in endgame pve so that’s something going for it but it’s still just melee kills with synthos. On top of that there is only like 4-5 usable exotics for endgame titan lol it’s really sad idk why it bothers me so much how pvp ruins pve in so many ways and nobody talks about it. PvP community constantly cries and complains about everything and somehow always gets their way while ruining the pve experience
If you want really good damage against the final boss use leviathan breathe with catalyst as she get stunned and you do like 150,000 on precision shot combined with its catalyst which also gets archers tempo which adds extra to your damage phase
Historically it wouldn't have been an issue. If we still power crept everything like we used to (ie Shattered Throne) we would make up for the crazy HP in a season or 2. But this last year or so Bungie has done a decent job of plateau-ing us, likely so content stays a little more relevant for a little longer. 100% on the tone deaf
I highly doubt it because it's just a shield piercing shield throw. Arbalest has a huge buff built in it which causes the one shot. Having said that i have not tested it either.
The spawn info in the final boss room is so helpful. I'm definitely gonna use that! I did a 4.5 hr solo attempt on strand titan to prep for flawless and the mental fatigue just wore me out.
Really enjoyed you talking through your thought process here. When i got my solo flawless i ran stronghold void titan with a detonation build, purple explosions everywhere, was great fun! couldnt get it to work in the boss room, so went with old faithful solar titan. Really looking forward to the new dungeon, hope its a banger!
@Chablo91 Hi Chablo, off topic- but any recommendations for weapons to focus with all the engrams that have to be spent before the new season? Any GM staples or new season buffs that might be worth throwing some engrams at and having in the vault? Thanks for the great content, cheers
Erm which weapons are you referring too? There is nothing that important tbh but I believe the arc LMG 900 RPM has target lock that's a craft/ strand rocket quite unique get the pattern for that. the fusion rifle with controlled burst solar. That's the season of witch weapons, warden's law is a huge weapon that you should have the god roll for make sure you have. Without knowing the weapon mods for next season its hard to say exactly. You can tell by my comment I'm generally unimpressed with weapons of late as an exotic primary can do everything for you.
Chablo, any interest in the PS Portal being a PS Main gamer? I got one and actually had my personal best Iron Banner match ever on it this morning. I actually like the way the controller on it feels over the DualSense. Because the grips are a tad longer and the buttons and sticks are super snappy. Other than the screen in the middle, it feels great to hold.
Ohright you are the first to mention and talk about it. I do not have it no since I don't have any children in the house or anyone else there's no need for me to have the portal as well. I play on a 70 inch TV that I spent quite a bit of money so I'm happy enough with just PS5 on that. Depends on the price of the portal and what other features come with it. It looks quality just looks quite wide to hold though.
One of these days I'll attempt this dungeon. Someday... or maybe much sooner if next season's artifact mods are even less interesting than this seasons.
I think it would be nice for ursas to allow you to put down your banner shield like a giant barricade. Maybe they can add a weapons of light bonus to one of the aspects. Like d1 had on defender.
Okay i read and didn't understand but now i do. So you want ursa to basically do both void and strand, new super would be needed for strand or a option to not have a super per say but use banner of a war like a mini well. It's a good concept i like it. However why cant we have a bubble buff in PVE i dont understand
@@Chablo91 I don't know what strand has to do with it, but cool idea. I meant the void super that you block with a giant shield. I think the bubble buff is valid. But personally, I think they should remove the overshield from saint 14, give it a different perk, and add a new aspect for bubble that gives blessing of light and buffs weapons of light, as well as giving reload speed when you have overshield.
@@thetruth9651 yh i had banner of war on my mind so when you said banner i didnt think you meant banner shield sorry. Yh helm of saint should be the exotic to buff bubble higher buff plus reload etc like you said 👍👍
Thanks!
Thank you back really appreciate it meghan :)

Ecliptic distaff with replenishing aegis and destabilizing rounds is amazing in most void-heavy content, and really fun to use
I wish replenishing aegis was a demo instead. But that glaive is really good 👍👍

Yh it takes it out of me though these days 😆.
But i get some lovely support despite the dire situation we are in.

I was actually thinking void titan would be decent for a GotD solo
It ended up being decent ish. But it's no strand titan i suppose.

Yeah if you look closely, when you hold a sword your melee ability icon gets replaced with a sword icon which will show sword energy instead.
3 strongest enemies in Destiny: gravity, geometry, flinch

It's bugged on PC mind does unintended extra damage due to frame rate. Yh its an option especially with rapid fire ranger.
Nearly an hour for the last boss!
Thats a little much.
They won't nerf HP of these bosses. Tone deaf is bungie

Would Second Chance break the boss shield in one hit? 🤔
I highly doubt it because it's just a shield piercing shield throw.

This build was at its absolute peak before the syntho glaive nerf and is what I used for first 2 encounters during day 1 RoN.
Just to clarify, the glaive build is what is was referring too.

Great point on fireteam scaling. Legend Avalon was a nightmare as a fireteam and doable solo.
Solo operative is the answer it will ease ppl for this 6 month long season or however long it will be.
