When presented one after another, you see how the early ones had such rich lore and the later ones were mostly “we don’t know much about them” except for characters like Nezarec and The Witness who were already part of the story. That’s kinda sad.

If they knew they could defect and work against it with the gifts of the witness. Rhulk seemed to have no idea what it actually was and trusted in his words “my witness” would spare him in it. Calus seemed to think he would be the last alive in the universe to se it end. Nezarec didn’t care he just wanted carnage. One last fight where he died to us or stopped the guardians who have killed beings like rhulk riven and oryx.

The crypt is open to anyone or thing tbf. If any fallen are able to use the left over parts of the crypt very possible. The most likely outcome is that Atraks mind is recovered by what remains of house salvation and they make her a new exo frame but it really wouldn’t make much sense. Next season seems more scorn themed

Oryx most likely spoke to the veil which we know is what made the witness and what it refers to as the god that made it in salvation’s edge when talking to us. The veil also spoke to Maya and lead to what happened this episode.
It is half true: the Vex has existed in our universe well before Hive. However, Crota is basically the cause for many future events that includes the Vex, the Endless Night for example.
