We had a similar strat but specifically the people who would eventually hold first totems would swap buff on middle plate first, dunk it into the plate, then rotate out to their totems. They'd get enlightened again eventually by necesity.
I miss when raids weren’t about the stupid buffs and debuffs… and actually had puzzles. This used to be one of my favorite raids; but now it just sounds annoying AF
Great info! Always great guides! One thing id like to note is to make these simpler, in the bridge encounter you can have everyone elightened before anyone crosses. This prevents the constant stress of juggling. Full explanation: Divide it up into 4 roles, -Starter (x1) -Passers (x2) (Eventual-swordbear) -Defenders (x2) -Ender (x1) (Starter) grabs 1st chalice, next the first (Passer) grabs next and "passes" it to (Defender). Once defender is ready, 2nd (Passer) gives it to 2nd (Defender). (Defender) then passes it to (Starter) to ensure he keeps enlightenment then finally, gives it to the (Ender). (Ender) is the person to group cross with chalice while one partnered with one of the 2 (Passers) who can be swordbearer. While running the first abyss encounter. We had two teammates rush straight to the end, that reduced the spawn of the thralls for the people who are running the challace of light through the route. Also we just move straight to the next lanturn without worrying about the weight of darkness debuff. whenever we arived to a lanturn that has a deposit spot, we just used the deposit and skipped lighting the lanturn.

always appreciate this content. these videos always age well because I always end up watching them 2-3 times throughout the years as I forget raid mechanics.
For our run of 3rd encounter what really helped was we had one person calling the witch spots bc he was using Wishender to look through the walls. He was invis hunter for survivability. Also you can juggle enlightened into the damage phase to expunge on that boss, it's well worth it. If you're getting inconsistent damage with rockets go div and linears, way easier and still easily locks down the damage cap.
THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO RICK!! I truly appreciate your uploads man, keep it up bro! 👊 I hope I can complete this Raid to get that juicy juicy Emblem 😭
Seeing the raid is the reason why I feel it's a terrible idea to nerf Wells as saltygreppo desperately wants. Unless they rework every raid where trying to DPS the boss doesn't turn you into mince meat (since you're out in the open with either a hard hitting boss or a shit ton of adds), it'll be a terrible experience for most of the players.
When well did not exist the main strat was to use hunter invis to whack him. Then again, that was just to get into position because you could only DPS him with a sword and had to use weapons to remove his shield. Like most raids this will be significantly easier when contest is gone.
I think a better solution would be introducing more alternatives Not just for warlock but for the other classes too, they have been adding more support items /weapons into the game like the new trace rifle exotic and the glaive vex exotic that gives you and allies overshield, and perks like the new heal clip are good steps but some new super or aspects would be nice, maybe A hunter arc super where instead of throwing the sprear forward they throw it right in front of them creating an aoe that can give them and allies buffs and also pulse out arc damage that blind nearby enemies or something
@@madmaxim3965 Unfortunately i don't see this happening since technically they are doing it with the new supers but there more like mini support buffs. Nothing close to well. Unfortunately I was forced to be a warlock main because I main both titan and hunter. Nobody is gonna bring a hunter into raids. It's always titans and warlocks. Again first time raider. I have no idea what to do now because I'm build a well lock specifically for raids so I won't be a noob. When they do nerf well then there's kinda no point in playing warlock other that usually void. Maybe stasis but that needs a rework and a buff.
For this raid, my fireteam had two Renewal Hunters providing support and ad clearing. Shit was impressive with how tanky they were, especially with Ir Yut.

Honestly, for me the worst part of destiny is having to rely on clan as some are not interested in the raids and or dungeons. Its been a frustrating and then people quitting. When they do attempt others act like complete morons and kick then instead of guiding them SUCKS. Bungie needs to come up for a work around for those who are NOT interested in raids nor dungeons and still acquire good drops.

@kirstyoxley3165 no the knights are normal once it's killed wait and the pillet before the final ramp the enemies will try to run down it but due to the trap on it the get trapped
From what I can see, this new raid is awesome compared to the original version! Crota doesn't seem to be soloable and is actually a tough battle. No telling how he is outside of conquest, but he looks hard to beat.
His health probably higher than rhulk a bit, he can 3 shots you if you stand too close, you only have 3 phases to kill him. And the main thing will prevent you from solo is the chalice (there aint no way you can even progress the encounter if there’s no one grabbing your chalice lmao)
As someone who 3 manned lanterns after 8 hours of trying to get there cause of the traps killing us... I can say it's an easy encounter if you just don't die
We weren't able to beat Crota, the adds kept killing us alongside crota. It never once occurred to me that we could use pheonix in the middle and cradle for survival. We only managed to reach damage phase once, and we only did like a tenth of crota's health. The others had to go to bed, but I'm gonna try for like 3 or four more hours with randos to see if at least I can get it and let the others know if the exotic is worth it/the instant exotic was worth the abstract p a i n.
to anyone being the wizard scouter role in 3rd encounter, void hunter with stylish executioner gives wish ender wallhacks with way more range and more ease of use
I liked the video because this was a lot of hard work. And must've taken forever and you have a new baby and had to spend all day doing this. I mean this is your career and is like a nurse working a double at the hospital. Good job K

At the very start you can check the statues to unlock red border chest
we finally arrived at big daddy crota -kackisHD 2023
Make sure to jump and heavy attack the gatekeeps. Jumping does more damage to them.
I HIGHLY recommend a flash bang grenade for the second encounter. It lasts a really long time against the gatekeeper
After all these years he’s back
Nice video as usual. I love ur detailed drawing of the rooms 😂.
dude! Its my favorite destiny commentator! RickAddictedtoCrackis
Does this mean that you can overdose on light and dark?
Considering the new mechanic and all...
I liked the video because this was a lot of hard work. And must've taken forever and you have a new baby and had to spend all day doing this. I mean this is your career and is like a nurse working a double at the hospital. Good job K
