kai has more voice depth than the original z dub
For sure. Believe it or not, I watched Kai first before the original Z so I can’t really handle the slow voice acting of the 90s. I will say when they got to the buu arc they got wayyyy better

Ik it was just probably the effect of him transforming but I really think gotenks when super saiyan 2 then 3
I mean there's no reason he shouldn't have reached ss2.
You kinda have to cause u have to remember that in order to get ss3 goku said u have to take ss2 and find an even deeper greater power and push hard to find it, so they’d have to be in ss2 to get to ss3

Same here! Piccolo was top tier character and didn't deserve to be a babysitter. Went from main characters arch rival to a joke. His elimination from tournament of power was a joke too

Both of them FUNimation Z Remastered Dub and Kai Dub! They both are very cool!

I liked the old Funimation Dub better. It seemed way more intense than it does here in Kai.
Though it has a special place in my heart i can't stand the z dub, only the dub tho
Don’t know if it’s just Chris Sabat’s voice changing over time, too long voicing his characters, or the evolution of recording technology compared to the old days. But his recent Piccolo voice and Vegeta voice kind of blend together sometimes and are indistinguishable. Like at 0:27 “THAT’S ENOUGH OF YOUR ATTITUDE” there’s some Vegeta that leaks in. I feel like recently Piccolo’s voice has gotten slightly higher and Vegeta’s voice has gotten lower and less raspy so they are more similar. I like the original Funi dub better.
I wonder how hard it is for those two actresses to sink their voices.

@@modernwarrior24 not quiet. Trunks is voiced by Laura Bailey and Goten is voiced by Kara Edwards. And they both voice Gotenks.
I think what they do is, one voices the character and the scene they're in. And the other does the same, then while they're editing the footage, they place the voices onto each other
@sdmiii1102...Kai The Final Chapters (2012-13) Laura left Funimation to voice Black Widow in "Avengers:Assemble"(2013-18). Alexis Tipton voices Trunks here.(There is also BOTH Xenoverse games,FighterZ,DBZ:Kakarot & Dragon Ball:Super anime that wrapped up in 2017).

Y'know it's crazy how much this scene changes for me. Easily my favorite with Bruce Faulconer's score, but easily one of my least favorites without it. :/
falconer is legendary, but kai final chapters is more connected to the same music as japanese and moves forward to super, respectively for more accurate translations and no filler, so it's only preference trade
