- #TheGHOST is my amazing 74ly jump range Krait Phantom ship. It uses pre-engineered FSD V1, which can only be purchased for special materials via human technology broker. It gives higher optimized mass than it's possible to engineer and it also gives you 2s boot time (which is rather useless, but if it's free, why not?)
On this video you only see it go up to 72ly, but that's because I didn't downgrade the fuel tank from 5c (32t) to 4c (16t). On this video I also show you how to farm for all the necessary materials and how / where to find everything.
In other words, everything you need to know is shown on this video.

Mine is at 75 light year jump with almost the same build.
I have the community goal 3A power plant which is the only difference.
It is a great ship thanks for sharing.
Now I want that 3A plant! But I think I can squeeze 3D on it with some mod.
@@SethiozProject Yeah it was a CG power plant that could only be received once. I did not realise how good it was until 6 months after the event.
@@jamesbigglesworth4677 actually I got the CG plants from another event, but they suck .. you cant put experimental on them, unlike FSD, none of the tricks work. Anyway I now have it on 75.15ly too

thx, yeah Phantom works great for exploration, but still 10ly short of Annie. It's better for landing tho, more agile and faster.
hello CMDR the boot time is when your fsd is turn off and you turn it on it will only take 2sec for it to be operational, its mostly usefull for heavy power hungry ship some people will turn off their fsd when in combat to get more power, having faster boot time give you the ability to flee faster, or in pvp if you fsd has been deactivated for example
Yes, but in this case it also increases the optimal mass by 15% which is why this double engineered frame shift drive is better than the "standard" one modification frame shift drive.
@@jamesbigglesworth4677 off course thats whats making it awesome, i dont know if you can still do that but when the first double engineered FSD arrived in the game we could add MASS MANAGER exp on it witch make it even better
the actual community goal will give an A3 A5 and A6 double engineered fsd too ! the A6 will be awesome

sure np, but I wouldn't recommend this for python tho. in any case, you can always swap it between ships, no need to get more than 1. I just wish they'd allow us to save ship layouts.
Love seeing some ED videos, I aint no hardcore player but i play abit after being away for a year. I dont got my anaconda no more, its in like colonia. But it was the best jumper i had at the time. Never tried the krait yet jump wise. Think ima make one, than go get more mats cause im low on the ones i need. Problly wont find the crap im sure.
Nice. I’ve got my Phantom to just over 60 LY with the pre-engineered 5A FSD and a handful of engineered modules, most everything is class D except the FSD. It’s my alt account so I don’t have all the engineers unlocked or I would have everything lightweight and could prolly get over 70 LY, but that account is for exploring the galaxy so my main can stay in/around the Bubble. Currently, my Phantom is in the Formidine Rift. o7 CMDR, fly safe.
well I think you need all the range you can get for exploration, but personally I would never use 2 accounts. I want to have all my unlocks, credits and ranks on one account :)
@@SethiozProject Fair. I grabbed a free account when the Epic Games store had that free sale around thanksgiving 2020. Just recently actually started using it.
True that I do not Play Games with Wipes what makes you lose all the Progress and on the Main Account in Multiplayer Games I will just Keep the Progress as for now this Game is already a Long Grind @@SethiozProject

Got a double engineered 6a on my anaconda got it about 3 weeks ago cant apply mass manager yet and it isnt fully engineered and does 80,5 LY fully outfitted
yes, but Anaconda is large and slow, I'm preparing 1000ly race between Phantom and my 82ly Annie, you can apply mass manager on A6 FSD V1 tho, check here - ruclips.net/video/aTNlPfllQXM/видео.html (on that vid I show how to bypass the bug, I applied MM on all 3 rewards)

You forgot to explain the whole beginning in the beginning at 5:05 , probably confusing 99% of the viewers a bit. Always start with AS-IS before TO-BE. Its a good video btw. You just have to watch it twice to make any sense of the editing.
3:19 cant see my fleet in description and cant find details about FIT of Phantom((. but I have my Phantom's fit for 71.71ly with 2 hangars (72.4ly 1 hangar) and 2x AFMU auto field-maintance unit 5A/3A and of course 6A Scoop + boost up 478 m/s. and dont know if yours is better or is the sabe more or less?

Being Invested into a game and knowing the Ins and out can make you like a Good Personal Trainer that is why for some things there needs to be a Pay gap or Appreciation in some other Form because not many people can do it.

As a console player I’m drooling. I got mine to roughly 60 ly jump range and I’m about to embark on a huge journey. I could probably get it a little higher but I’m tired of the grind.
Odyssey looks nice though, shame we can’t get it. I would kill for a PS5 edition.
Always amazed me how much grinding every facet of the game requires, yet once you make billions of credits, you still can't just buy some of the stuff you need for engineering. FDEV fumbled their own game design so hard. It's no wonder the pop doesn't break 5k anymore. I would've gladly paid like 50 million credits for an FSD grade unlock or something, and then 250 million or even 500 million for the grade 5 blueprint.
