    30:19 today - people still look at castes due to lifestyles. Every caste has their own traditions and social systems. Preference for own caste is so both the bride and groom find it easier to adjust to each other and the marriage is smoother. We also believe that marriage is not just a union of two people, but of two families. Familiarity leads to less friction. Also a major reason for the lowest divorce rates in the world.

    27:50 krushna clearly said it is based on quality and individual function in society not by birth but your job and the four castes are required in society to function like teachers, protectors,business traders, working labour farmers etc. but greed and unemployment lead to saving the job for his sons even he doesn't belong to that class by qualities but only by birth. It was misunderstood in hard poor times and now that indua got its freedom anyone can take any job they want but identity is stuck not opportunity.😊

    I recently read the “Arthashastra” which is a treatise by an ancient Indian scholar Kautilya / Chanakya on good governance for a monarch. He spends a significant chunk of his foreword dedicated to exploring each school of thought and which of the Vedas and Upanishads they consider “essential” including schools which believe NONE are essential. This makes me appreciate the diversity of thought that not only Hinduism, but other similar religions like Roman, Greek, Norse, and Celtic paganism allow.
    I also love that it’s a philosophy for humans - there’s no needless demonization of things like wealth or sex. “Kama” is a valid goal of life, and you SHOULD strive toward it. Obviously not mindlessly because that’d be pure hedonism, but there is actually a purely hedonistic school of thought within Hinduism. Pretty interesting.
    With respect to pronunciation, a lot of the “a”s at the end are very short snipped “a”s. You would not be incorrect to pronounce Ganesha as Ganesh, or Shiva as Shiv.

      @@ripsanskrit3609 I guess you don't know the difference between shrutis and smritis. Shrutis are the Hindu sacred texts like Vedas, Upanishads, Gita, etc which are timeless and divine. Whereas Smritis like manusmriti are not sacred texts and it's basically laws created by humans for a given time period. It can become obsolete, necessitating modification or amendment. Smriti, when followed at a given time, makes the requisite adjustments. There're 18 smritis followed during different periods of time and manusmriti is just one among them. The well known smritis are Manu, Parasara, Yajnavalkya, Gautama, Harita, Yama, Visnu, Sankha, Likhita, Brhaspati, Daksa, Angiras, Pracetas, Samvarta, Acanas, Atri, Apastamba, and Satatapa. Rituals for marriages and funerals are based on Vedas, especially yajur Veda. Manusmriti or any of the smritis are not sacred Hindu texts. It's just a documentation of laws or social rules from a different time period. If you do some basic research you can find the details.

    Btw there is believed to be a universal origin - "Oum" or "Om". From it originate three Gods(Holy trinity of Hindu Pantheon)
    - Brahma(creator of universe, fate, etc..think of him as the author of the book that is this world),
    - Vishnu(the protector of order and the nurturer. He is responsible for ensuring that the world runs systematically. For this purpose he appears as Avatars like Rama or Krishna) and Shiva(the being responsible for the erasure of the universe at the end of its lifespan)
    While there are texts that kind of insinuate some sort of Hierarchy among the three, it somewhat implies that Shiva is considered God amongst Gods making him the highest power and Brahma is not worshipped in general as a deity making him the lowest. However, there are texts that imply their interactions to be equal as well. Irrespective of they all originated/came into being, they have been shown to respect and worship even each other irrespective of a hierarchy.
    They as the ultimate gods have the power to grant fascinating boons(a lot of gods can grant boons, but the boons from them and Adishakti or Mahadevi(the highest ranking Goddess) are known to know no bounds IF they agree to grant them that is).
    They all have different traits however, Shiva is said to be the kindest(despite being associated with destruction). He is known to have a much wider range of emotions from the highest order of love for his believers to the highest order of rage for wrong doers. That is why it is considered that he is the easiest to please. Ofcourse this doesn't means that it is always the case, and that you don't have to go through any hardship for that. However, Shiva finds it extremely hard to resist the call of someone who is calling for him with his whole heart and being.
    Vishnu is known to be the hardest to please, that is because he is very specific about the people who are trying to ask for boons. As he is responsible that the world runs in particular order, he cant just bless anyone and everyone who is facing hardship. However, there have been exceptions, where he came rushing for people who merely called his name with love. So it is not that it is impossible but he is the kind of God who would weigh pros and cons of granting the boon in most cases.
    On to the Devi or Aadi Shakti or Mahadevi. They are the supreme personification of true femininity. Infact, if Brahma-Vishnu-Shiva are considered the physical manifestation of the Universe's will, Devi and all her forms is the energy that drives them.
    She is the personification of energy, passion, emotion, everything. She also takes many forms, Durga is said to be the representation of the one higher power(the names i mentioned before and Durga are essentially the names of the same entity)
    In the form of Saraswati, she is Brahma's wife. Saraswati is the goddess of music, art, inspiration, wisdom, knowledge, and such. She is also acts as the muse of Brahma. In her absence, everything loses its inspiration and creativity, wisdom goes awry and music ceases to happen. Even Brahma cannot create universe without this inspiration.
    In the form of Mahalaxmi, she is the wife of lord Vishnu. She is the personification of prosperity, glory, happiness, exaltation, etc. This is not just for material wealth but for spiritual prosperity as well. She is essential in keeping the world in running order. As without her, happiness would vanish. World would fail to prosper and grow.
    In the form of Parvati, she is the wife of Shiva. She is the personification of love, beauty, war, emotions, kindness, etc. She is said to be the simplest of the three, she and her husband shiva live in a remote mountain of Kailasha, devoid of any materialistic luxuries. She is also the one who has the widest range of emotions like her husband, as such she is also very close to humanity when it comes to emotions. As such, just like her husband, her rage also transforms her into mahakali. The ultimate destroyer. In this form she symbolizes the rage of the very energy that runs the universe. She is both the gentle hand that nurtures the world and also the raging fire that burns the world down. She is often used by Hindu's as the symbolic representation of the pent up rage and destructive capabilities a woman can have when she fights against evil. AND also as the supreme nurturer when a woman showers her selfless love on people around her.

    Rigidity of the caste system is actually exaggerated by Western historians who wanted to show India as primitive and justify their colonization to "civilize" us. In ancient times, there were no Institutes of Technologies or Medical Colleges or Law Schools. People usually learned skills at home. Today, society can afford to support a 35 year old unemployed guy (for example, doctors taking thousands of dollars of loans to study 15 years). These facilities were not available back then. Skill development and education took place at home through kins. There were no schools either. There was no avenue for socialization of children which is the primary functions of schools today. So the easiest way to ensure that a child participates in activities of the society for personal and social development was to take up the same skills that their kins have. But that NEVER stopped them from upward social mobility. There were many Shudra kings like Palas though Shudras are supposed to be labourers only and nothing else according to Western Scholars. Similarly, Brahmans were not always priests. Some were kings, others depended on kings for patronage (for examples, Brahmans rewrote lineage of many kings including Shudra ones to portray them as coming from divine origin). Gautama Buddha was born as a Kshatriya who were supposed to be warriors. Nothing stopped him from preaching. Rather the most powerful and the wealthiest followed him. Vaishyas are placed third but that doesn't mean they did not have any power over Brahmanas and Kshatriyas. They were wealthy. When they did not like their "low status", they patronized Buddhism and Jainism who questioned the caste system. Then in some areas, where landlord caste like Yadavas or warrior caste like Rajputs are dominant, Brahmins who were supposed to be at the top are considered to be inferiors. It is only the Western scholars who started this misconception of caste system being rigid. Untouchability was a very bad practice, no doubt, but so was slavery which was abolished only in the mid 1800s in USA and tbh its not much different from how big corporates treat their manual employees in the name of ease of doing business, lol!

    6:41 Who is God in Hinduism?
    Brahman: The ultimate, formless, and infinite reality that is beyond all dualities and distinctions. Brahman is the source and essence of everything in the universe, encompassing all that exists and transcending all forms and concepts.
    The Trimurti: The three primary deities-Brahma (the creator), Vishnu (the preserver), and Shiva (the destroyer)-are manifestations of different aspects of Brahman. Each represents a fundamental force that sustains the cycle of the universe.
    Personal Deities: Hindus may worship various personal forms of God, such as Vishnu, Shiva, Shakti (the Divine Mother), Krishna, Rama, and others. These deities are seen as different aspects or incarnations of the same ultimate reality, Brahman.
    What is God in Hinduism?
    Brahman: God is the eternal, unchanging, and formless essence of all things. Brahman is not limited by time, space, or form and is beyond human comprehension. It is the ultimate truth, consciousness, and bliss (Sat-Chit-Ananda).
    Saguna Brahman: When God is described with attributes, forms, and qualities, this is known as Saguna Brahman. This includes deities like Vishnu, Shiva, and Shakti, who are worshiped with specific forms and characteristics.
    Nirguna Brahman: When God is described as formless and without attributes, it is called Nirguna Brahman. This concept emphasizes that the true nature of God is beyond human description and imagination.
    Where is God in Hinduism?
    Omnipresent: God is present everywhere, within every particle of the universe. The idea is that God permeates all of existence and is immanent in all living beings and objects.
    Within the Self (Atman): In Hindu philosophy, the Atman (Self) within each individual is considered to be a reflection of Brahman. Therefore, God resides within each person as their innermost essence.
    In Temples and Sacred Spaces: Hindus often worship God in temples, which are considered sacred spaces where the divine presence is particularly strong. Statues and images of deities are revered as physical manifestations of God’s energy and presence.

    The laws of manu isn't the only book about hindhu laws, there were atleast four others, but it's the famous, because of how it's used for propaganda by the left with distorted translations and potry Hinduism as some close minded bad rigid thing, while forgetting you can even be a Charvaka (an out and out atheist and materlist) in Hinduism without getting killed. There are even dedicated books for sciences like Ayurveda and Astronomy (the Hindu calendars are some of the most sophisticated calendars that use both moon and Sun for references.

    As per Scriptural Analysis Hinduism is basically Henotheism.
    Henotheism Definition is as follows:-
    "Henotheism is the worship of a single, supreme god that does not deny the existence of other deities"
    Religious Scriptural Evidence:-
    In Hinduism, there is one god but many deities. first, know the difference between god and deity
    Rigveda book 3, hym 54 Visvadeva , line 17 :-
    महत तद वः कवयश्चारु नाम यद ध देव भवथ विश्व इन्द्रे
    mahat tad vaḥ kavayaścāru nāma yad dha deva bhavatha viśva indre
    "This is, ye Wise, your great and glorious title, that all ye Deities and Demigods abide in Supreme."
    Rigveda 2.38.9
    na yasya indra varuṇa na mitra vrata aryaman na minanti rudra na arāti tad idaṃ svasti hvā devam
    savitṛ namaḥ
    Him whose high law not Varuna nor Indra, not Mitra, Aryaman, nor Rudra breaketh,
    Rigveda 4.26.2
    I have bestowed the earth upon the Arya, and rain upon the man who brings oblation.
    I guided forth the loudly roaring waters, and the Gods moved according to my pleasure
    “Great indeed are the Devas (demigods) who have sprung out of Supreme God.” - (Atharva Veda)
    Why deities are worshiped and the result:- Bhagavad Gita Chapter 7, verse 22:-
    स तया श्रद्धया युक्तस्तस्याराधनमीहते |
    लभते च तत: कामान्मयैव विहितान्हि तान् || 22||
    sa tayā śhraddhayā yuktas tasyārādhanam īhate
    labhate cha tataḥ kāmān mayaiva vihitān hi tān
    Endowed with faith, the devotee worships a particular celestial god and obtains the objects of desire.
    But in reality, I alone arrange these benefits.
    Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 7 verse 21
    यो यो यां यां तनुं भक्त: श्रद्धयार्चितुमिच्छति |
    तस्य तस्याचलां श्रद्धां तामेव विदधाम्यहम् || 21||
    yo yo yāṁ yāṁ tanuṁ bhaktaḥ śhraddhayārchitum ichchhati
    tasya tasyāchalāṁ śhraddhāṁ tām eva vidadhāmyaham
    Whatever celestial form a devotee seeks to worship with faith, I steady the faith of such a devotee in
    that form.
    Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 4, Verse 11 :-
    ये यथा मां प्रपद्यन्ते तांस्तथैव भजाम्यहम् |
    मम वर्त्मानुवर्तन्ते मनुष्या: पार्थ सर्वश: || 11||
    ye yathā māṁ prapadyante tāns tathaiva bhajāmyaham
    mama vartmānuvartante manuṣhyāḥ pārtha sarvaśhaḥ
    "In whatever way people surrender unto me, I reciprocate with them accordingly. Everyone follows my
    path, knowingly or unknowingly, O son of Pritha."
    Hinduism God gives many options of worship u can worship him directly through a medium or via deities.
    It's up to each devotee which path he will choose this doesn't affect god he can hear both.

    Hi Luke, there are thousand books in Hinduism, the core spiritual books are The Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads and Vedas, consists of the philosophy of the Life. There are a lot of other level of books i.e. Puranas, Smriti (eg. Manushmriti) that are not regarded as high as Gita, Upanishads. Manusmriti is a book of governence, not spiritual and none have ever made it as a constitution of his kingdom. Since history, Hinduism have a profound liberty to experiment various ways, thoughts, ideas and Manushmriti is that kind of book. If you are interested, study that book, but none have ever followed that sets of books as these are not the core philosophy book of Hinduism. Gita & Upanishads are the ultimate conclusion of vedas, the ultimate philosophy, the answer of "Who am I", "What is the purpose in Life" etc.

All the mortal forms which are considered as Shiva's Avatar actually are actually a Ansh (A part of him) which is a reference to his body fluids (Sweat, Tears, Hair etc or you can say his DNA). So Lord Hanuman was never an incarnation of Lord Shiva but only a part of him.

    There is no Caste System in Sanatan Dharm. There is Varna System. It is not birth based. It is based on your qualities. Yes this system has been exploited for personal gain by people of Bharat(India) and specially accelerated by Muslim and British invaders. But this exploitation according to Sanatan Dharm is an absolute Adharm( Not Dharma / Not righteous ). So the Birth based Caste System the Western World knows about has no place in Sanatan Dharm. But there have been exploitation which is absolutely prohibited( Krisn Himself says this in Bhagabat Gita).

The British introduced caste based divisions and literally divided us causing hatred among people :)

    So originally you were always borned shudra you have to climb ladders and gain knowledge to become brahmin. even if your father is brahmin you are still borned as shudra and have to climb upwards but as centuries pasts all upper people in pyramid tried to cease power for there kids and it became by birth thing which it wasnt in originally. so in vedas you can be anything to want you have to get skill first but most denomination doesnt follow vedas as it is. only arya samaj do and you can still convert to brahmin in arya samaj and start gaining knowledge

    No matter which religion you belong to you cannot escape the concept of karma( your daily doings . Eg - do good and good will come back to you or you get what you sough ) and dharma ( do the thing which is needed to be done , regardless of what you think about it . Eg - you found that your son is a thief and according to the constitution you must get him punished rather than ignoring just because he is your son , here your are being judged on the grounds of being a normal citizen of your country , you are a soldier and you are on the warfront and and it is your duty safeguard your position no matter what countermeasures you resort to , etc. ) . These 2 things are the basis of life and just for your information if you just follow or believe above mentioned information believe me you are doing very great as a human being .
    Note 1 : you do not need to convert yourself to some other religion or say some specific message or some proclamation that you now believe what you just said .
    Note 2 : I myself sometimes doubt in the word religion or some supreme power guiding us , but i cannot agree more on the fact that i highly believe in concept of karma and dharma .
    Note 3 : Although not covered in your video but if one really wants to seek blessings of The God / The Supreme / The eternal one without believing in any kind of belief which you consider mythology just start respecting and obeying and looking after your parents for the rest of your life .

    Thanks to Islamic and British invaders who slowly turned the entire meaning of varnas based on qualities and duties into caste system based on birth, appearance and status to divide Hindus so that to rule India, bcz of that policy of divide and rule which is still going on and both people and country are suffering....

    anciet caste system in rig veda in understood in slightly wrong way. Its not that you are of the caste in which you are born and have to do the work given but its that u are of the caste you perform the work of.

    Your fundamental understanding is misplaced. Sanatan or Hindu is not a Religion. Dharma doesn't really mean Religion. There is no exact word in English for Dharma, hence Westerners with their limited understanding started calling it a Religion just like their own respective Book-mandated religions. And only Sanatan Dharma talks about Philosophy and Spirituality in depth. It is vast like an Ocean with no end to its depth.

    May you be guided on your Journey to the straight path. May I suggest that you read the Quran. The translation in English is not 100% in meaning that Arabic gives, but please give it a read and see what it preaches. It also tells a lot of stories, such as the Birth of Jesus son of Mary, Noah, Johana , Joseph. I hope you read it as I and billions others belive it to be the true path. This is the only religion (that I know of out of all pagan and monothestic religion) which is a direct connection between you and God and that is it no one else in the loop that can hold you accountable. We believe that the true oldest religion that is that which was preached to Adam, Noah, and soo many other Messengers that were sent to every single tribe of man. Which is the worship and surrendur to God and only God without partners, by definition in Arabic Islam (comes from the root word Ist-islam meaning to surrender). In the Quran it says about how God sends us(Humans) messengers and we either disobey them (thereby disobeying God) or killing them (again, disobeying God). We made up religions that we started to follow that hold no power. I do not mean to offend anyone but I ask you to do your research before you make a decision about your future. It's all up to you and what you decide is how God (in our belief) will judge you. ultimetly I am just conyeing the message in hopes of you seeing it and being intrigued enough to search for it. May God guide all of us to the one true path.

      I just wanted to add after watching this video, Islam teaches everything from Morals, good (as in no bad source of income or deceit) economics (how to split money to inheriters, trade, etc), faith, prayers, Laws of war (things that make it clear that groups like ISIS are not Muslim), Rights for Men and Women, History, Philosphy, Logic, Science. They say that if the Library of Baghdad was not burned by the Mongol Hulegu's army, we would be 1000 years into the future in terms or knowledge and technology, all of that happened under the umbrella of Islam during it's Golden Age, unlike Europeans at the time during their dark ages, Islam was flourishing with ideas and knowledge that made Baghdad the center of the world for trade and information. Islam actively encourages its followers to read and learn more. In fact, the first word told to the Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessing be upon him) was "READ" (Read in the name of your Lord)

    • @HayderAbdulridha
      @HayderAbdulridha 5 месяцев назад

      @@Skyo.o Not in this case. God is all mericful and knows that which I do not know. I cannot tell you who will go to hell or heaven, for all I know, I can end up there if God wanted it so. That's it, it's all up to God, the creator of the universe. God tells us what to do but we cannot do that to the creator as we hold no power in this case. I will check again at this comment to see if you have any questions and will try to answer it to the best of my knowledge. But basically, God holds all the power and is the ultimate judge of all things, and if God wanted to, he can forgive whoever he will. I say "he" because it does not feel natural, but in Islam, God is not a man. I wish you the best but if you have questions, ask.

    • @HayderAbdulridha
      @HayderAbdulridha 5 месяцев назад

      @@Skyo.o I want to also add, that God is also most vengeful, not in human terms but God can punish whomever he wills and forgive whomever he wills, bless whomever he will. All up to God. Also, in Isalm, God does not have to answer your prayer, you are asking God for something that God does not have to grant. God does not need us becuase God is the ultimate independent thing not dependent on anything for whatever God needs.
