BALI is a place name in indonesia i think but indonesian, malaysia etc was a hindu nation in the past that bali name was also copied from hinduism those bali native people are 90% hindu followers..so connection is there 😊
King Bali (read as Bəli phonetically) isn't same as Vāli who supposedly ruled regions around Indonesia . I like to believe it is derived from Vāli => became Baali(Bāli) The Vāli is king of Vānarās that other king of Vānarās Sugirv fought with. Ram killed Vāli and gave the kingdom to Sugriv under terms that he will provide his military of monkey kingdom (Vānarsenā) for the search of Sita devi. The names around Indonesia, Myanmar region likely originate from the names of the kings or important entities from the ancient epics.
Another popular thing related to Hanuman ji's immortality is that since he has been a part of Ramayana and he has seen all the sorrows and happiness of Shri Ram and all those scenes have become his memories, he says that if I leave this body, then all the memories of my mind will also be lost, which I will not let happen, I will always keep all the memories in my mind because those memories exit in my mind. So I can think of destroying my body but cannot think of destroying these memories. This story shows the unlimited love and pure devotion of Hanuman ji which he has in his heart for Shri Ram.
The biggest misconception about immortality is that never die Immortality means you can live as long as big time period like millions year or like yuga.
In Hinduism, absolute immortality is not attainable for anyone(there is a whole philosophical reason for that), not even the major gods. However, the primordial energy, known as Brahman, is always present and is the only truly immortal entity. Those who receive boons may avoid death, but only for a specific period, whether it be until the end of a Yuga, Kalpa, or a full cycle of creation, etc.
But isn't it also a fact that brahman also ends as planned by vishnu. Brahman exists for 100 universal years i.e. around 113 trillion somthing years (i forgot the specific amount) so at the end brahman, just like humans (tho obvsly we can't really compare these two but just for the sake of the point) also exists in the cycle of life and death after every 100 universal years. If brahman is immortal then we can also say that human kind is also immortal to a certain level
And there is also the fact that immortality especially in the case of divine entities mostly mean the ability to remain alive for however long, so if brahman is determined to end in 100 universal years then its not really immortality but rather fate.
Very true. जातस्य हि ध्रुवो मृत्युर्ध्रुवं जन्म मृतस्य च | तस्मादपरिहार्येऽर्थे न त्वं शोचितुमर्हसि || 27|| Death is certain for one who has been born, and rebirth is inevitable for one who has died. Therefore, you should not lament over the inevitable. Lord Krishna to Arjun Chapter 2 Verse 27.

The Story of how Vibhishana got immortality is different the way I heard it: When the three brothers Ravana, Vibhishan, and Kumbhakarna were doing penance to Brahma and Brahma came to give them boons, Vibhishana was the only one who asked for a boon that always makes him act dharmically and ethically, while Ravana and Kumbhakarna both tried asking for immortality. On the topic of the Mahabharata, I think Krishna Dharma’s “retelling” makes for an amazing introduction, as it focuses on the narrative while still peppering in the philosophical stuff. From there, Sri Aurobindo’s translation of the Bhagavad Gita (which is part of the Mahabharata) is very good and generally seems to be highly respected and recommended. For deeper exploration into the Gita, as well as many other texts, the Ramakrishna Order has numerous RUclips channels in which they teach extremely in depth classes on them. On the topic of Yugas, each is longer than the one before, but in each case they’re like hundreds of thousands of years. On the topic of the immortals, the general belief is that they can sometimes be encountered by people in the jungles or the Himalayas or other deep, far, secret, hidden type places. You’ll hear stories of great yogis who live in caves in the Himalayas who say they’ve encountered Bhagavan Hanuman Ji somewhere. Similar to the way you’ll hear someone (as you saw/heard in Rajarshi Nandy Ji’s video about seeing Bhairav Baba) say they met Bhagavan Shiva in the form of a great Aghori in a cremation ground. Usually it’s a case in which an “advanced” sadhaka or upasaka sort or “earns” an encounter somewhere, or even an average Joe who finds themselves on a particularly special place may happen upon one of these deities or rishis or other figures.

There are 2 big names out there for the Mahabharata (correct me if I am wrong please) 1) C.Rajgopalachari's: If you wanna go straight into the story. It uses decent amount of sanskrit words now common in quite few South Asian languages, so you need to look things up separately while you read. But this is the OG book in english. Short self-help book.. 2) Vivek Debroy's: This one tries to give the whole layout first so much easier for foreign people. But because of such detailed and minute explanations you might just end up being lost in that instead of the actual story. Unnecessarily long but easy to follow step-by-step.

Hope you read this Best book for you in my opinion is Ramayana also another great thing is there is an explanation of Hanuman flying because he wasn't a god at that time so he used to lower his weight as it was a blessing by the gods because his spiritual father vayu who is the god of air as his name suggests after hanuman got struck by the lightning of Indra the zeus of sanatan dharm because hanuman was about to eat the sun (its all explained in the ramayan) his father vayu sucked air from the world which started to kill everything but all the gods came and revived and gave him blessings so he had the ability to fly but forgot it due to a curse so when his friend jambuvan said to leap across the ocean to lanka he didn't know how to but after he was told his story he could fly again by becoming weightless and got a jump boost and became huge then glided across the ocean

03:50 Aswathama wasn't carried away by emotions. His father Dronacharyaji was duped into believing that his son was dead, because of which, in deep sorrow Dronacharyaji threw away his weapons, and sat down in meditation. That is when Dhristadyumna (Draupadi's twin brother, The Pandavas' B-i-L) decapitated Dronacharyaji. When Aswathama heard about how his father was killed/murdered, he lost all respect for the rules of the war. He started believing that if the Pandavas are not fighting by the rules, then why should he. So, Aswathama went in search of the Pandavas, after sunset, which was against the rules of battle/war. And in his rage, killed the 5 sons of the Pandavas believing them to be their fathers, in the dark. When Krishna, who was the Uncle to the murdered Pandava kids, came to know of this... Well, the rest is history!
Lord Hanuman is also known as “Pawan Putra”, which translates to “Son of Lord of Air” !! And there is a very famous story about when Hanuman jumped to eat “Sun” thinking it’s a beautiful apple hanging up in the sky. What happens next?? Get to know through a video on RUclips. ❤️👍
My Suggestion - Watch the KALKI 2898 Movie, to get a glimpse of Mahabharath and info on Kalki, Ashwathama, Krishna, Hanuman, etc. it would be a great starting point and an token of encouragement before you read the book.
You can watch some movies to know about hinduism. 1. Dashavatar - Movie to know about avatars of lord Vishnu. 2. Ramayana - To know about Ramayan. 3. Mahabharat - for history the Mahabharat. You can also watch videos about lord krishna's birth and his childhood.
Chiranjeevi actually means very very long life but not immortal, infact lord barhma says many times for thise who seek immortality that immortality is not possible and its way of nature for things or being created to die one day.
Hanuman ji Location :- Gandhmardan hills located in Tibet, which was once part of the Sumeeru mountain range. The mountain is north of Mount Kailash in the Himalayas, and was once part of Kubera's kingdom. 🏔️ 📍
Chiranjeevi doesn't mean you are immortal, It means someone with very long age or die only when you want to be, so some people do mistake it for immortality According to Hinduism, nothing is immortal in the mortal land, everything has to eventually end They call it "immortal" in the translation because its the nearest word,
The lord hanuman In Hindu mythology, possess Ashta Siddhi and Nav Nidhi are symbols of power, wealth, and strength. Ashta Siddhi refers to the eight supernatural powers of Hanuman, and Nav Nidhi refers to the nine treasures he possesses. Here are some of the Ashta Siddhi: 1)Anima Siddhi: The ability to shrink one's body to the size of an atom 2)Mahima Siddhi: The opposite of Anima Siddhi 3)Garima Siddhi: The ability to make one's body extremely heavy 4)Laghima Siddhi: The ability to make oneself as light as a cotton ball 5)Prapti Siddhi: The ability to obtain anything one desires 6)Prakamy Siddhi: The ability to travel from the Earth to the depths of the underworld, fly in the sky, and stay underwater for as long as desired 7)ishitva Siddhi: The ability to gain divine powers 8)Vasitva Siddhi: The ability to control others using one's name The Sanskrit word nidhi means "treasure" and is often used to refer to the nine treasures of Kubera, the god of wealth. I mean like let's consider it to be myths, but those ancient sages were thinking deep tho... This would be some crazy marvel stuff back than....
About aswathama he was not blessed with immortality but cursed with it. Out of 7 immortals some are cursed, some are blessed ,some are tied with a promise or goal
1.the moral of mahabharata to live in the right and truthful way 2. the moral of ramayana no matter how strong and powerful Evil may look or be, eventually it is always defeated by Good. Jai shree ram
I would highly recommend watching Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan Epic. It is from late 80s early 90s. He made it with a lot of research into the original Ramayan and in all it's translations and stayed true to scripture. There's been many Ramayan series made since his but they've been made more for entertainment rather than educational purposes so producers have twisted stories to attract audiences. I've always loved this version.
You should definitely watch the "Ramayana: The legend of Prince Rama" anime movie Its based on a summary of Ramayan the epic and was made with collaboration between both the countries of Japan and India You can find it on RUclips but I won't recommend that as thats of very poor quality...try to find it through other means **wink wink** But it's a must...its a masterpiece ❤

God Sri Krishna curse aswathama for 3000 years only according to original vyas mahabharath Immortal and chiranjeevi both are different. Chiranjeevi means who live more Not only 7 there are more chiranjeevis like markandeya maharshi, romasa maharshi, etc...
the first one is different...ashwatthama had beheaded the children of pandavas, so krishna cursed him with immortality, and snatched the pearl off of his forhead leading to infection and said that he would suffere till the end and beg for death, but never get it

Yes he read it

Even the mountains in South America are well described in Ramayana even the name mount annatas are same even today
Yes we are proud of you ❤❤❤❤❤
"Chiranjeevi" is wrongly interpreted as Immortal. It means "the one with loooong life".
CHIRANJEEVI means " Cheer kaal tak jivit" which means ALIVE TILL THE END OF TIME. So basically immortal
@@akashvig5007 aree Bhai. No.
Cheer or chiram means long time. Jeevi means being.
Basically till the End of Kaliyug
The term is a combination of chiram, or 'permanent', and jīvi, or 'lived'. (wiki)

You should get Mahabharata books which has both Sanskrit and English translation next to each other. Those tend to be most accurate ones
Chiranjeevi actually means very very long life but not immortal, infact lord barhma says many times for thise who seek immortality that immortality is not possible and its way of nature for things or being created to die one day.
He is not a storyteller, he is telling the history & facts
Hanuman ji Location :- Gandhmardan hills located in Tibet, which was once part of the Sumeeru mountain range. The mountain is north of Mount Kailash in the Himalayas, and was once part of Kubera's kingdom. 🏔️ 📍
Mahabharat is so complex that even a small incident made a important role read it in depth 😊
Chiranjeevi doesn't mean you are immortal,
It means someone with very long age or die only when you want to be, so some people do mistake it for immortality
According to Hinduism, nothing is immortal in the mortal land, everything has to eventually end
They call it "immortal" in the translation because its the nearest word,
Most authentic scripture you should read from Geeta press ❤

The lord hanuman In Hindu mythology, possess Ashta Siddhi and Nav Nidhi are symbols of power, wealth, and strength. Ashta Siddhi refers to the eight supernatural powers of Hanuman, and Nav Nidhi refers to the nine treasures he possesses.
Here are some of the Ashta Siddhi:
1)Anima Siddhi: The ability to shrink one's body to the size of an atom
2)Mahima Siddhi: The opposite of Anima Siddhi
3)Garima Siddhi: The ability to make one's body extremely heavy
4)Laghima Siddhi: The ability to make oneself as light as a cotton ball
5)Prapti Siddhi: The ability to obtain anything one desires
6)Prakamy Siddhi: The ability to travel from the Earth to the depths of the underworld, fly in the sky, and stay underwater for as long as desired
7)ishitva Siddhi: The ability to gain divine powers
8)Vasitva Siddhi: The ability to control others using one's name
The Sanskrit word nidhi means "treasure" and is often used to refer to the nine treasures of Kubera, the god of wealth.
1.the moral of mahabharata
to live in the right and truthful way
2. the moral of ramayana
no matter how strong and powerful Evil may look or be, eventually it is always defeated by Good.
Jai shree ram
See podcasts where Rajarshi Nandy sir is guest.
Amazing ❤
I would highly recommend watching Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan Epic. It is from late 80s early 90s. He made it with a lot of research into the original Ramayan and in all it's translations and stayed true to scripture. There's been many Ramayan series made since his but they've been made more for entertainment rather than educational purposes so producers have twisted stories to attract audiences. I've always loved this version.
they present in physical being but they r very powerful
Bro just watch ..Kalki and Hanuman movie please 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hanuman Chalisa a hymn dedicated to lord Hanuman has the correct distance from the Earth to the Sun
You should definitely watch the "Ramayana: The legend of Prince Rama" anime movie
Its based on a summary of Ramayan the epic and was made with collaboration between both the countries of Japan and India
You can find it on RUclips but I won't recommend that as thats of very poor quality...try to find it through other means **wink wink**
But it's a must...its a masterpiece ❤
India has 1656 languages are spoken he is speaks Hindi from Northern part of india. I am from southern part of india Tamilnadu. Tamil isOldest language of World 🌎
Womp womp its Sanskrit
God Sri Krishna curse aswathama for 3000 years only according to original vyas mahabharath
Immortal and chiranjeevi both are different. Chiranjeevi means who live more
Not only 7 there are more chiranjeevis like markandeya maharshi, romasa maharshi, etc...
A reaction to this movie "The Man from Earth" would be interesting.
the first one is different...ashwatthama had beheaded the children of pandavas, so krishna cursed him with immortality, and snatched the pearl off of his forhead leading to infection and said that he would suffere till the end and beg for death, but never get it
Whats pagan btw react to ram setu pls 🤪
People commenting that it's history, not mythology are the same ones that scare people away from learning anything about our culture and religion.
Hindu mythology is a mixture of history and creative genius! It's a piece of art.
It is History that's expressed as Mythology. Since arts endures in time.
These are not stories, this is history
