- Trying to lot the last of the wheat cattle and it didn't go so well. The mud didn't help either! They haven't been fed with the Kubota recently so they didn't follow it as good as they usually do. Stay tuned for the next part when we finally get them in the lots to make our sort!
Part 2 the sort is live now!

I wish I had your patience, I'd be just as crazy as the cattle
Thanks for sharing and I was with you two all the way. You just could not see me. I was stuck in the mud and could not move. lol A lot of hard work right there. Have a nice safe day and can't what for your next post!!!
4wd broke in the ranger😂 I know the feeling. My trucks 4wd went out and I didn’t know until I got stuck and sat the ass end down😂
Buster is sitting on the couch watching the video laughing at the Cowboys 😁 good looking cattle
Thanks! Yeah with buster we might have got it done in one go or might have ended up with some on the other side of the fence 😂
Great vid like always, stay safe out there
I probably said all the "bad words" you didn't. 🤣🤣 Something about working cattle just brings that out in me... Lord forgive me. Great looking group of calves and many compliments on your human cutting horse abilities.
Well done. I would of fallen flat on my face in that mud. Awesome job 😊😊👍
Beautiful video and stunning bunch of youngsters…👌🏾🇿🇦
In dry weather build a wing out there and make it a lot narrower so you don’t have to cover so much distance
Love the videos
good video man good job keep up the good work ethic man
Glad to see I’m not the only one that has trouble getting them in at times.
I wonder what kind of words you were saying that got edited out lol
That look like it took all day, WOW glad you or Pop's didn't get run over.
Dam. Its bad enough trying to move that many cattle on foot. Then throw in all the mud makes it twice as hard. But once again you and pops got er done!!!
I like that breed only thing is some of them can be crazy some of them won’t go in the corrals and some like deer
Awesome videos Sir
Can I please ask you something sir
Sure!
congratulations
Great video as always. You have some beautiful calf in the mix. Do you hold any heifers back to grow the herd.
Thank you. Yes, we always keep the stripes and good black baldies.
@@TheFarmGuy there beautiful. I'd love to have a couple myself lol. Thanks for sharing with us.
Hello i love your farm setup and your videos could you plz guide me I want to eventually have my farm . Looking forward hearing from you thanks.
Dang that’s some wild cattle lol. As always-beautiful 🐮. Is there a risk of them actually running right over you? Or do they stay away from you and run around you?
There’s always the risk but usually just go around you. There’s probably 3 in that whole group that don’t mind going through you instead of around.
Just the other day when we were trying to weigh some steers and a few heifers we had a steer go crazy and he got one of his front hoofs stuck in between a gate and the post holding the gate. He didn’t want to help us any and ended up dislocating his hoof so working cattle never goes the way you want it to.
You guys deeds som border collies trained I would have cow on my place without a good border collies or a hang tree breed or kelps
Where’s Buster when you need em !
Colton, you around dude? Hope all is well with you and in good health. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
What's that saying " If at first you don't succeed try try again" Not sure how many trys you made but you finally succeeded. Good job Colton
I love F1s … make good mama cows
i see you guys didnt have the right "bait" to catch all big calves, just kidding i wish i had that many calves to have that problem!!
I I feel like for the point where you're trying to herd them towards the Corrals a horse would be the best use for it and getting them in
You have to be fearless to be a cattlemen. Where's Buster the Wonder dog?❤
I hate that happens all the time. We have tried a new approach of using apple treats and cake and just feeding in different spots in the field and whichever cow doesn't like following get sold. We so far have 150 head following us wherever the rtv goes even the catch pens. Well on most days if they have a newborn they won't follow the herd but after two weeks they follow. We had a cow that couldn't calve running everywhere but the pen chased her for hours and she finally jumped in the pond. We put our portable catch pen up and my wife swam out there and pushed her back to the pen and we loaded her up that's one of our worst
Wow, good job by the wife!! Yeah, it had just been a couple months since they’ve been fed with the rtv so they weren’t too excited for it
great vid I'm Shure its annoying for you wen the cows are not obedient but some how we enjoy to watch true realty show not bs lol
How did Buster miss all that action?
He got left at the house kind of unintentionally but knew if they got to doing a lot of running he tends to get impatient and then it doesn’t help!
Why dont you use cattle dogs ?
I think you need mor help. Thank you for sharing.
A good set of dogs would help you a lot
No doubt about that

Ever want any free help let me know. Would love to help and have a 14yr old boy that needs to get out and back to his roots. In the city now and HATE it.
No horses??
Classic Brahman cross
Where is Buster
Oh dear, what a mud pit!
I guess a hundred 500 lb animals with sharp pointy feet can tear up some wet land in a hurry.
Haha... the herd instinct is strong in these animals!
Do some cows become natural leaders, or can any cow make the rest follow them?
It doesn’t really matter. A gentle one could see a rattlesnake and head for the hills and if she does then the rest will probably follow lol
Would it be better if you were on a horse? How they did it in the old days. Just saying
I’m sure it would have helped!
That looks like a major pain in the butt !
Need a better corral system...
Where was my guy Buster? He would've made that look easy.
Man, my wife has been home with the baby some so buster just happens to be with them when we decide to lot these. Don’t worry he’s coming in the video after next!
All it takes is just one.
My Dad used to send us out to bring in the cows for milking. These animals are as dumb as a bucket of scrimp and sometimes so ornery. They say sheep are dumb. As you can tell, I don't like cows. I'll say this, you know how to handle them.

It’s NEVER a good sign when they start out running like that
First
Badly design cattle yard
Please stop Whistling
The whistling pretty much does nothing to help them move. Just let’s them know how close I am I guess you’d say.
